Yes, and the preferred gender is female.

He wanted specifically the female-on-female "homo portion", since m/m apparently doesn't appeal to the straight, male author of this fic.

I'm fairly certain this fic has been posted before in this thread, and I just wanted to let know folks that it's been updated: Out of the Dark and into the Green.

Edit: never mind, I completely forgot this got into the library.

Saw the update in my email today, have no fucking clue what it's about just by skimming the last few chapters.

Regarding Deal With the Devil : Does it have character bashing? The author's earlier stories don't really inspire confidence :

And 'Dumbles' too. How nice. I hate this author already.

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For is a HP/Star Wars crossover that i read recently. It is fairly new (2 chapters, but already 28k Words).
It's not perfect (and the other HP fanfic of the author is incredibly slow-paced), but I really like it so far.
Harry meets Ahsoka after she left the order in the Clone-Wars series, and the story progresses from that point...
You might want to give it a try, it's one of the better SW-Crossovers out there ;) .

    ...

The first thing that stands out to me is the Timeline.

Okay fine. Good 19 years Before the Battle at Yavin.

    Fine.

"X number of months prior to seperatist invasion of Coruscant, at least 9 months before Order 66."

Uh... So... doesnt this mean we're 9 months from Order 66? What's going on here.

I feel like I'm reading All-Star Batman and Robin with their timeline jumping around shenanigans.

"She had to quit the Order."

    A. I think you mean resign.

    And B. Who?

Ahsoka or Barriss? Cause there's two female characters and only one pronoun.

And a relatively in depth discussion of the bartender's rack has pretty much, ironically, killed my interest.

Maybe if I had more time I'd keep reading but oh noooooooo. no no no. pls no.

If you decide to quote than do it right ;-)
"she had quit" not she "had to quit"
Now, my english is very far from perfect, but there's a big difference, isn't there?
Moreover, that wasn't even part of the story yet :D
About the bartender... Well, yeah, I can see your problem. But there are very few good SW-Crossovers out there, so I take what I can get ;)

The author collaborates with Plums so we can draw a few conclusions from that. The Authors other story I'm still here has a few ANs that allude to the authors writing style, so we can probably see where this is kinda going.

I had to google plums, but you're right, his storys aren't very reassuring. Well, I hope this one doesn't turn into a mindless harem-story.
However, you're probably right, but I think it's alright for the Almost Recommended thread ;)

It's funny this fic is mentioned since I got a new chapter alert as soon as I finished the last post here. This story seems interesting so far but I find he is a Dumbledore basher he can be annoying at times. Especially in crossovers why do people need to bring that crap to another universe?

Good find, I liked it, as I did with her other HP story. It's pretty much a pure guilty pleasure fic. It's entirely self indulgent but manages not to irritate me at all. Worth a read IMO, especially since its one of my favorite crossovers - one which doesn't have all that much content.

It was better than most HP/SW crossovers. Not much of a comparison seeing as most HP/SW crossovers are awful...

This is, er — I'm not quite sure what this is. I've certainly not read anything like it before, but then I generally stay away from such fics. Give it a shot, who knows? It might just be your thing.

Eh, I saw the coming a mile away. Also, how on earth could he be surprised by who it was?
I know it says he's been doing his wife in the dark, but surely he remembers what his wife looks like.

Main character of that story ("Ashoka") is really weak. She is probably self-insert. It looks like she just needs to be rescued by awesome, all-powerful Gary Stu Harry. This story is garbage. 2/5 at most so far.

...well, Ashoka is one of the main characters of the "Clone Wars"-series...
Edit: Thought that doesn't prevent her from being weak, especially compared with Harry. That seems to be one of the biggest problems so far: He is simply too powerful.

Of course he's too powerful didn't you know he's there to show the Jedi that the force is just magic.

You could argue, that before the introduction of so-called midichlorians, the Force was in fact a kind of magic.
