Presumably its reset to the age of the new body, and she will age onward from there. However its possible that if the body is magically weaker, the slowing effect won't be quite as strong as Luccio had in her old body, so the new body may age faster.

Even so, I would say that overall, Luccio will live longer now than she would have otherwise.

Longer, she was close to 200, so had maybe 150-200 more years. Now she is... 30? So has 320-370 more years. In some ways an avantage in others not. Longer to study and know theory, but her new body was said to not be as powerful.

I dunno that there's really an upper limit to how old wizards get. Jim's said that The Gatekeeper was the one who took down Abdul Alhazred (Author of the necronomicon). According to Lovecraft, Alhazred vanished/died around 738 AD. And since I doubt the Gatekeeper has violated the 6th law...

Of course, there are two possibilites here. One is that Alhazred did not die in 738 (pretty likely, considering how long Kemmler lived. Then again, Kemmler wasn't dealing with Outsiders). The other is that the Gatekeeper was born a long time ago, but hasn't technically lived all of that time, due to time differences between the mortal world and the Nevernever. It could even be both of those.

The more talent the longer you live, I think. That's just a guess, though.

Ancient Mai is ancient, and is a bit over 400. So, yeah. I guess 400 +/- 50 years is old.

I think Luccio was well over 200, actually. Didn't Ebenezar or someone say she was one of the people up for a seat at the Senior Council?

    'looks up from writing something'

Hypothetically speaking, assuming shit has gone sideways during the events of Storm Front, something has appeared that can directly threaten and expose Nemesis, Nemesis is aware of this, and Chicago is somehow sealed off to prevent anything with any spiritual mass beyond that of a normal person from leaving (including wizards), how would Nemesis react? Where do you think it would go, and what do you think it would do, if it was in the body of Victor Sells, and was forced to either fight with everything it had to kill it's attackers, or hide until it could escape?

    Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Infect as many vanilla mortals as possible, to give itself the maximum chance of surviving.

It's a virus like creature, right? Or are we talking about the 'core' of the being? Been a while since I've read through Cold Days.

I'd also vote against it infecting Dresden. Personally, such a story path is unappealing. You could argue that starborn shenanigans somehow prevent this/make it an unwise decision on Nemeis' part.

Completely depends on where Nemesis falls on the corrupter/tempter axis. If all it is is a superpowered whisper in the ear.. Marcone would be its best bet. If it can really force a personal change, find as many latent word class wizards as it can and forcefully awaken them.

This is the Tread for stupid questions right? Even though it's been more than thirty days?

My stupid question is whether War Cry (and all the comics for that matter) are canon? Recently I've read through the graphic novel Dresden Files stories, and I've found myself unsure...

For instance if War Cry is canon, that would mean Warden Ramirez
has both been introduced too, and has fought beside Thomas Raith.

Would that not effect any future interactions in the upcoming novels?

Do any of you guys know?

War Cry, at the least, is definitely canon. It says so on the Amazon page and IIRC in the comic itself. I'm not sure about the other comics, but I'd assume that any covering things not covered by the books are canon as well.

Isn't War Cry set after White Night, though? Because if so, nothing weird about it.

As for the comics, I'm fairly sure they're all considered canon.

From what I understand, the books, comics and short stories are all canon, and the RPG is semi-canon at best.

War Cry is set after Dead Beat IIRC, shortly after Warden Yoshimo recovered from the injury she suffered in that book.

Yeah, the comics do have some continuity issues. Like in Welcome to the Jungle (or maybe it was one of the Storm Front issues) where Harry seems to know that Justin had enthralled Elaine, when he had no idea about that until Summer Knight.

I was thinking about DF the other day while studying and was wondering at the end of Ghost Story, was Uriel aware that Mab/Demonreach were about to revive Harrys body? From my memory, it didn't seem that way which is odd because that seems like something Uriel should have kept track of.

If memory serves, he certainly was. That's why the 7 words he gave Dresden were exactly what the man needed to hear when Mab started in on him.

And I'm fairly sure he keeps a close eye on Mab. She is a rather sneaky bitch, after all.
