Plently, but ranks 5-legend is where the grind truly is.

 

Patron Warrior destroys everything as far as I can tell. There's also a fair bit of zoolock and midrange hunter as well.

 

Tempo mage is common and strong too. Played it to rank 3, but have a lot of issues with the 234234234 patrons in 5-legend, and tanked down.

 

PW is freaking bullshit. I had 53 total life as Control Warrior plus a brand new Sludge Belcher and 2 other minions on board. The guy still did 45 damage to my face.

 

We're pretty late in the current meta's lifetime, all the top performing decks have been figured out for quite some time.

Things'll shake up next week when they announce the Argent Tournament expansion and we get a glimpse at what's coming up.

God, I hope there's some improvement to arenas or something along those lines.

I have begun trying out and trying to learn Maly lock, Sofar it completly destroys patron warriors (unless shit draws ofc)

 

I'm sitting on ~2800 dust, and really should save it for the announcement on 22nd.

But the idea of maly lock and maly rogue just looks so much fun to me, and tempted to craft one.

 

Went to check my dust. "Only 2370? Weird."

And then I checked out what I could get from disenchanting. 19,915.

That's like 1/10th of a control warrior deck!

I'm mostly free to play - obtained the expansions, otherwise I just alternate arena for gvg and buying classic packs. I prefer constructed over arena, even if I haven't been playing long enough (2 months or so) to be able to play some of the more control oriented decks just due to not having the cards.

So I play cancer. Tempo mage, grim patron, midrange hunter, etc.

 

I wish I didn't suck at Arena. I'v tried every hero and used arena deck builders. I always just get shit on. My lucky record is 4 wins

 

I like arena, but my problem is that you only get GvG packs from it.

And as F2P I'm missing a TON of classic cards (or was), so I alternate. 100g on a classic pack, save up 150g for an arena, etc.

I'm not all that good at arena but I got to 9 wins once. I average enough that it's worth doing over buying packs (barely), so meh.

 

The malylock is really fun, it is good without using the thaurissian malygos combo

 

Play control warrior, but instead of using good cards your end game is replacing your hero with Ragnaros.

Millions of armor + 8 HP = no problem.

You lose armour on getting Majordomo, yes, but Control has a few ways of getting tons of armour.

The main problem is just getting BGH'd and killed the same turn.

 

By the time you can play Majordomo you can only hope you've gotten most of your armor gaining spells/minions already and played them or you're likely to be dead against anything that isn't a control deck. And the problem isn't getting BGH'd, it's just straight up dying after playing a 9 mana minion that does nothing. Even Ysera is iffy if the meta isn't really slow and she doesn't bring the drawbacks.
