I thought about using all the arena gold I'd saved to buy packs, but meh. I'll get all the cards through arena, like usual, so none for me.

Even though Blizzard is just dicks, with how they've changed arena rewards.

Oh WTF. They told us we could choose. Isn't this game created by like 3 people making them enough money already?

I can just imagine after a terrible draft and couple of unlucky loses ending up at 3-3 getting a gvg pack and just rage uninstalling HS.

 

They never said we could choose. It's random, but weighted towards TGT apparently. 50/25/25, or something, but not enough data to confirm that yet.

I opened 80 packs and got 2 legendaries.

Acidmaw, Icehowl. So, there's that.

 

My Nef Mage deck ended 4-3. 2 loses to Priest that had Mind Control and the other lose to frakin Taunt Warrior.

I hit that 33% chance of TGT pack (still dumb that they wont let us choose the pack). Thanks to completing Mage Dominance + 80 gold arena reward I broke even so I'm happy.

 

I bought 25 classic packs and 15 GvG packs2 weeks ago with gold because I was missing so many cards, got 40 non duplicate cards, only legendary was deathwing. Highlight was snakes, 2 eagle horn bows, and a dire alpha wolf, which allowed me to build a decent face hunter deck, and the two frothing beserkers I needed to run the Patron Warrior deck. Still, some people get all the luck with legendaries.

I drafted Grand Crusader in my Druid arena and both times I was able to play him I received Eadric.

He's a neat anti combo card I guess, but...

 

I'm going to wait a week or 2 and see what people come up with, you can never be sure with this game.

I went ahead and crafted Varian Wrynn. I played 3 games with him so far and put Sludge Belcher + Sylvanas/Shieldmaiden in play the last 2 games. So worth it to craft for Control Warrior if you didn't open him in the TGT packs.

 

As the last choice. In a deck where I got offered no weapons and didn't pick any pirates. >.<

I don't think this game want's me playing it.

 

I got Skeleton Knight and Aviana from my 25 packs, and crafted Saraad and Paletress.

Greenskin at least has acceptable stats...

 

Hilarious story that is in no way documented, unfortunately.

Dicking around with a tempo mage on ladder.

Unstable portal gives me a Ghazrilla on turn 5-6. I play it. I ping it. I run it into the small mob, clearing board, but staying out of fireball finish range.
A secret is up, but I don't think much of it, because it's a tempo mage, so it's probably entiety or effigy.

I ping it again the next time, it's 48/1. And whap it into the enemy's face....oops. Ice block. He pings it to kill it and spams hello.

I weep.

A few turns later I play Antonidas and 1-2 cheap spells. He fireball pings it into my effigy... which spawns Ghazrilla number 2.

I have 2 fireballs from Antonidas in hand now. Ping > fireball > 24/2, hit face, fireball face.

Two OTK's from Ghazrilla in one game. As a mage.

Good times. I added the guy but he didn't add me back for some strange reason.

I know I should still be happy, but there has been a serious amount of trolling in these packs so far.

 

In the Grand Tournament, you win or you die [emotionally from the same goddamn legendaries over and over again].

 

This is the first time I've been offered Archmage Antonidas in arena.
