Luffy's parting was fucking hilarious. Gotta admit, my heart damn near fell out of my chest for a moment during Luffy's conversation. I was like Oda...no...no..why...*turns page* phew...

Bartolomeo continues to be the best character.

I'm kind of hoping Zoro steps up as First Mate here, and drags Luffy away. I love what Luffy's doing here, to be honest, and I'd totally 100% love to see Shit Go Down if he hadn't just gotten beaten up in a fight.

I loved Luffy's reaction, too. Made me involuntary think back to his encounter with Akainu and Ace's death. That said, I expect Law to do some kind of switching.

I actually expect Sengoku to get in the way and let them all escape. Also, in case anyone missed it, looks like Fujitora haki'd up his sword to help block the punch but you can see at that last panel he still got injured slightly by the mark on his left cheek.

Honestly, I think Luffy, like Doflamingo(obviously since he beat him but still) is at the level to start challenging Admirals. He may not necessarily win, but he's strong enough now to be able to escape if he needs to or maybe fight to a standstill....if he was at 100% strength. Given that he's recovering still, not so much but I figure he can still make a good showing if they actually do end up fighting right here and now.

Hell, even Zoro is at that level given how he shrugged off Fujitora's surprise gravity strike. I doubt Zoro would fall for it as easily since he knows Fujitora's abilities now. So perhaps we'll see a Luffy+Zoro v Fujitora.

Also, idk if anyone's heard yet but confirmed we're getting a new One Piece movie in Summer 2016. Definitely looking forward to it.

I wouldn't be very surpised if Luffy ends up rejecting them, because he wants to become Pirate King with only the strength of his own crew or something like that.

 

What about Cavendish? He seemed interesting. And Sai too. Don't forget Hajruddin. All of them were given personalities during the arc.

I really loved this chapter. I liked all of the Colosseum contenders, especially the ones from the Happou Armada and Hajrudin so I can only be excited about seeing them more in the future.

 

It's actually pretty amusing that Sai can just pledge his country's navy to a pirate.

 

It's still a pirate crew and as captain Sai can do what he wishes cause pirate.

 

Base Luffy is Based.

 

Luffy's going to turn them down and another one of God Usopp's lies will come one step closer to becoming true as he'll take them under his wing.

 

Yeah, that looks like the most plausible theory.

Plus I wonder if Luffy would be willing to share Sake cups(and what that signifies to him) to a bunch of random strangers when he has never done it with his crew or friends.
