The prize for legend is pretty marginal over rank 5. It's either a difference in dust/1 extra gold common. So don't feel too bad for not wanting to grind 5+ hours for legend in this chaotic new meta.

I believe they were able to get this info from people logging on after the update for the first time since the month started. The system recognized them as not having received the rewards (card back etc.) And gave them the chest.

 

Just had The Dream(-1) in post-TGT Paladin.

53% of my games played over last 3 days have been against Paladin. Most of them with Dr. 6.

I'm so fucking sick of paladin secrets already.

 

Yea it's pretty bad. It's pissing me off bad enough that I'm thinking of switching to control hunter just for flare.

 

That would be awesome.

 

I started playing hearthstone again a few days ago.

I understand why its called "eboladin."

I'm playing (a varation of) the deck, and I still feel like im getting cancer everytime i win.

 

Haven't played Secrets-Paladin yet. Been having entirely too much fun with Murloc Knight.

 

Beast Hunter with Flare has gotten me farming secret pallys to rank 2.

 

Yesterday every 2nd game was Secret paladin at ranks 1-3. Today there was a pretty even split between paladin, hunter and druid, with an occasional warrior.

Mages, priests, rogue, shaman and lock are extremely rare.

 

Spectated KaiDASH's climb to legend running beast hunter tonight. Pretty good winrate against Pally from what I could tell.

(Just not so good against warrior. Okay, so really fucking terrible against warrior)

Also, I really, really fucking hate Secret Paladin, and the people that play it.

They can die miserable, painful deaths.

I tried to craft one after reading this, testing it out to see how I can refine it.

EDIT: I seem to have some success with it as long as I gain early control, if they manage to gain a massive board like totem shamans I get a few problems, I think Dreadscale or Acidmaw would work great in the deck ( I do not have them)

 

TBH I have no idea if control hunter is any good against Christmas tree paladin. It would just be super cathartic to flare after they pull their bullshit.

 

Well, I would love Dreadscale or Acidmaw for the deck, I have a bad matchup vs totem shaman. Played 2 games vs secret cancer and I won both ( might have been lucky, not sure yet). Its decent in most control matchups as long as you play it right.

Playing control hunter is fun though, everybody expects a face cancer so they treat me as one at the beginning which is favourable.

 

I'm curious to see what your Control Hunter decklist looks like.

Right now I'm having fun with druid in ranked right now with my Val'kyrs playing havoc. I don't often get to use them to the fullness of their abilities, but their mere presence tends to swing the tempo of the match my way.
