The #toptown comment is kind of bothering me but I can't quite figure out why.

 

Damn finally caught up more or less.

Soo what i want to talk about is the fact, that i believe Kai to be town.

He is way more in thread compared to the last game, while still keeping the same attitude about the game.

I am just curious to find the possible scum in the dlGN push.

Those are the people that actually voted on him .. only checked votals, which means if someone voted only for a short time inbetween, then i might miss out on that person.

Kai is not a target for today, at least not for me.

Snowvon vouches for Cobalt, i kinda like Cobalt more between those two.
I dont think the way the aligned when talking to/about each other was w/w .. not a 100% thing, but it is unlikely i think. (only talking about memory, have not reread all of that)

Proph is the big mistery, but he was last game as well.
I would feel horrible pushing a late misslynch on him today, if he is town.
Because was happened last game was really bad, i was scum .. but still.

But I am fairly certain there is at least 1 scum between those 3.

Uhh doesn't work that way. I read you as town both when you were town and when you were scum. I don't have nearly enough games of solid reads on you since to trust the types of reads I typically use on people.

I'm not going to clarify the second point beyond what I've already said, NDA's and stuff ya know

 

I'm not advocating a no lynch Day 1, but under what circumstances is a no lynch beneficial to town and why is a townie mislynch always considered better than a no lynch if we are already getting a lot of information + no-flip game?

Towny lynch gets us an Angel, if we can confirm D1 lynch as town we know the real Priest check is good. No lynch goes to Judge, Judge could be scum. Plenty of reasons. We are not no-lynching.

 

No lynch = judge gets to decide the lynch

Upside is the judge can kill through multiple lives, downside is we have no idea who the judge is and if he is town.

 

Yeah, I know. Cool, that makes a lot of sense.

No lynching is good in situations such as:

Vanilla game where say there's 3 town and 1 scum alive. If you don't lynch, scum has to kill someone, and you narrow down to 2 town and 1 scum. It makes the odds better on that final lynch

Mechanical reasons IE the way claims are if anyone dies to scum it helps narrow the game-state down drastically and we don't want to lynch any of the claims

With a GD with an extra life, we most-definitely want to lynch today, the only major fear is accidentally hitting the priest which probs won't happen now

Well if you're town this game you can chalk this up as another whiff on reading me correctly.

I'm not even getting in to that second thing but it might fall under "Citrus is being entirely too much of a shitgoblin to be scum." It might not, though. You pulled some cheeky shit on me in WH12.

Within the dlGN push i want to lynch between Proph and Snowvon.
Snowvon read as genuine for the most part, i think. But the difference between his not that motivated towngame and his scumgame is not that big.
Not jumping through hoops to save him.

Does anyone in this game have an actual read on proph? will read his 20 posts right now.

Because if I don't clarify you're just going to annoyedly ask:

I'm slightly scum-reading you right now (was lean-scum on you when I voted you). I placed my vote on you because I know historically that you buck really hard against being mislynched as town and that's the only solid thing I have for reading you in the modern day (I expect you wouldn't no-bars-held be against being lynched as scum but you certainly are as town), and I wanted to see how you would react.

Which was interesting, as you almost seemed like you were going to psuedo-OMGUS me on that one post back there, but then changed your mind at the last second, which is why I wanted you to clarify your stance.

We're not lynching SlipperyAx toDay, so you should unvote. Snowvon when you're caught up I'd really like you to point out who we should lynch

I've been putting it off under the assumption that my secret tools for reading him will determine it for me around D2/D3 when they would work on him, but alas

 

My major problem with you Newcomb is you keep calling me a witch while declaring you are certain of this. I spent my last game dealing with this crap from someone who was also certain who was actually town. He was wrong and you are wrong but the problem is I am not reading you as town no matter what other people are saying about you.

 

I'm not certain you're a witch. It's possible you're actually the Priest and were deliberately acting scummy. Either way, if you take the Priest thing out of the equation, you are behaviorally my strongest scumread. Your early game posts are kind of grossly self-aware, you spend way too much time talking about what you're going to do or how you're playing versus genuinely Figuring Things Out, and your reads as a whole are pretty lukewarm.

Despite that, my strongest scumread doesn't automatically mean I'll never entertain the notion that you're town. I've been wrong on people a LOT. I don't really do "certainty." I'll go hard for things I believe, but I'll never just blindly believe them without being willing to question why I believe them.

In this case the origin of that belief is pretty simple: behavior + CC. I wish Kai would stop fucking around, because you're either Priest or mafia, from my point of view.
