Priest CC there failed because scum had info town did not that allowed us to see through the CC. That's why town was confused and we weren't

    @Proph

^ what I was talking about earlier w/r/t "helpfulness." Idk. It's not an especially strong townread.

The turnaround on me was kinda bad, painting vs. reading, but what did you mean by connecting me to Loch? Like I think Loch's town - wouldn't that mean Loch was mafia and Cobalt was trying to tie me to his mafia buddy?

If you make a good case for Cobalt I'll switch, but you need to do it like right now.

You see "helpfulness" and I see IIoA - information instead of analysis.

Scum love to tie people to whoever the lynch is. Remember the Invitational (off-site meta talk) and how I tied Azrael to Wheat_Grinder when Wheat flipped scum, so I could go after Azrael? Yeah.

shit like this is what loses mafia games. you removed 3 people from a game in which like 4 people are already off the d1 table because of claims for shit all reasons. it's one thing to say it half-jokingly early on d1, it's another to actually be using that to POE push a lynch at EOD of a multiple real-world day phase. garbage. anti-town.

Rereading him myself right now .. just gonna say forcing even more claims is not good.

There needs to be an end to those stupid claims, normally close to noone claims this early.

But if you think Loch's town then that Cobalt post actually makes me look really good.

I'm not really thinking it's happening again, but this arguement is highly flawed since scum!oracle Menace and scum!newcomb pulled that exact stunt in WH5

a scum actually took the role of oracle in a game before? is literally the only benefit of that to narrow down the holy candidates by one ?!?!?

The extra info though was that we knew Sesc was town. Knowing the check was on fonti was just gravy. My point is... actually I have no idea what my point is, what are we even arguing about?

pt should strongly consider peeking GD at end of day (ie: queue it now if you want to do it) because if plotless is scum, lying about the flip here is going to be absurdly easy.

this is the first game with the 'scum get an extra role to discard' rule.

---------- Post automerged at 11:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:16 AM ----------

pt = peeping tom, to be clear.

My point was you should've known better than lynching a potential priest. But I don't really have time to review all your post by EoD, so lets table this for now

    Source?

As to the rest: I don't care? I want all of them dead, and if I want to make up fluffy reasons for prioritizing one over the others, then that's my prerogative. You don't have to like it.

Sure. Quick hit though: TH and WH are different because of the Haunt mechanic. The Priest is way more important in TH. In WH I honestly think people overvalue that role, to the point where I consider two Priest claims and both of them dying a pretty solid +EV town outcome even if we get zero checks out of it.
