Turn 6? Since you appear to play aggro, you kinda deserved it.

It's impossible for a druid to have the moral high ground in any situation.

    Counterpoint: Secret Paladin, Aggro Shaman.

Of course, this assumes that there is a moral high ground, even relatively.

A few questions since everyone is talking about Hearthstone these days.

If I were to download the android version could I play people who own Windows version?

What's the most popular medium on DLP? Mobile or Computer?

Are there any major differences between the two?

Also, when starting out how much money do you have to pour in before settling into the curve? I'm assuming this thing is funded by booster packs and the standard package are pretty crap?

    Yes it is Multiplatform.

I think the most common would Mobile.

The only difference is formatting set up. Only during matches.

You can pay it will make the game run way faster but it is possible to do it for free. A professional Hearthstone player by the name of Trump recently did it here is a link

    I hope this helps!

I know it seems obvious that a multiplatform game can be played on the same account across all the platforms, but a certain other TCG company made a digital game in which this isn't true... Just saying. How they managed to fuck up that badly, I'll never know.

So umm. US players who play this game, check the email you use amazon on. Theres a good chance they might have sent you a 25 dollar promo for in-app purchases. Just uninstall hearthstone on your phone and reinstall through the amazon underground app.

    edit:
I had issues installing hearthstone from amazon underground. Turns out if you have the battlenet authenticator installed on the same device, they might conflict with each other. Just uninstall the authenticator and use the sms protect option.

So I achieved my first 12-win arena run ever last night, fuck yeah. (Final records: 12-1, my loss was against a Paladin at 11-0)[IMG]

    Some scattered thoughts:

I've only started playing Hearthstone again about a week ago after a pretty long break (according to Heartharena, my last arena run before last week was Nov 20) and my first arena run with Rogue since the LoE expansion. I'd heard that Rogue was supposed to be the strongest class for arena these days, and I can't disagree after this run I had.

Surprisingly, I only faced a single Rogue, and that was at 4-0. In 13 games, I played 5 Paladins, 4 Mages, and one of each Rogue, Shaman, Priest and Hunter.

MVPs were my 3 Undercity Valiants. Backtab + Valiant ping on turn 2 was a huge temposwing that won me several games. Also, Coin + Shado-Pan Rider on turn 4 was nasty.

LVP was Mukla's Champion. After the draft, I thought that my weakest cards were probably Lowly Squire, Kezan Mystic (depending on who I'd play against) and Mukla's Champion. Kezan ended up being alright, stealing me two Paladin and one Mage secret. Lowly Squire was a surprise sneaky MVP. On several occasions, I managed to get a 3 or even 4 attack Squire after playing it on turn 1 and using the Backstab/Undercity Valiant combo and hero power to clear. I don't understand enough about Hearthstone to make a definitive call whether that was pure luck or whether the card is actually good. Probably luck.

Did my end of month climb today, after puttering around mostly just doing dailies.

16 games from rank 10 to rank 5.

    Win streaks are fun.

Did it with Reno Shadowform deck: http://imgur.com/qeL9Bka

Highly recommend giving it a try, it's super fun.

You auto lose to combo decks, but it's really good against both aggro and control.

~Edit~ I was on a train most of the day, hit rank 5 on EU, too. Easy climb with Aggro Shaman (don't have shadowforms, and wanted something more mindless).

I won't have time next month, but I do want to finally grind legend one of these months even if just to say I did.

Team 5 updated the f.a.q. several hours ago with this:

Will Reward set cards such as Gelbin Mekkatorque and Old Murk-Eye be part of Wild or Standard format?

All current Reward set cards, including Promo cards, will be restricted to Wild format.

When Standard format arrives, the Captain’s Parrot and Old Murk-Eye cards won’t be given for collecting their associated classic cards, but can instead be crafted (and disenchanted).

Acquiring the Promo cards Gelbin Mekkatorque and Elite Tauren Chieftain remains unchanged: the normal versions of these cards can still be crafted or disenchanted, while the golden versions were acquired via special events and cannot be disenchanted or crafted.

So spending dust now crafting all golden murlocs would be good since you can disenchant legendary after?

    I haven't done the math, but I can't imagine that's efficient.

Yesterday I got 500 wins with mage. First 200 or so wins were with a mech/hybrid deck which I struggled with, as I was missing a lot of cards, and not really enjoying it, but since august last year have been playing tempo mage, and been having lots of fun, even if I am missing key cards. Also been playing raptor rogue and been enjoying that.

I just can't wait for standard/the new set. The meta is so stale, I can't wait for that post-expansion experimental phase where there's a huge variety on the ladder.

    Sigh... Shouldn't have woken up.

Glad to have more of this tired meta shoved down my throat though while i'm desperate for info on new cards.
