Not directly from the reveal, but Kibler got them to admit that there will be 'dragons', emphasis on the plural, if you're dying for more dragon decks.

I tried out the Paladin "Tide of Murlocs" Standard deck recipe. I can see why people hate the "Wild" Murloc decks.

There is a new Hero, Lady Liadrin for Paladin. We can get her for free by doing something in WoW. People are saying it's get your WoW character to level 20. a CM on Reddit said the only requirement is that it needs to be done on the same Battle.net as you play Hearthstone on.

Battle.net has put up a blog that explains that

"Players who level a World of Warcraft character to level 20 will earn a new Achievement, Fledgling Hero of Warcraft, that will unlock Liadrin for use in Hearthstone. No World of Warcraft subscription is necessary to earn this hero and bring the power of the Light to bear in Hearthstone—simply log in to your existing World of Warcraft account and play.

Note that while the World of Warcraft Achievement will not be rewarded retroactively, anyone who leveled a character to level 20 after 11 a.m. PST on March 11 will be eligible to receive Lady Liadrin."

 

So this is basically a "please go play WoW" by blizzard?

Haven't played WoW in years, still not planning to. :/

 

Ooh, I get an Overwatch card back.

 

You can level to 20 on a trial account without needing a subscription. Takes maybe two hours tops. They were careful about making sure it didn't require you to pay for WoW to be able to do it, just try it out for a bit and maybe get hooked, heh.

It's not a terrible business model given it's just for a useless cosmetic.

 

I would kill for such a 'useless cosmetic' for Rogues...

It's interesting when I look at the various games I've played over the years. Blizzard is like.. my company. I don't think I've missed a single one of their games. Starcraft is still my main hobby, for fuck's sake.

We're in the middle of a Jaraxxus-Off and the other guy pulls out Sacrificial Pact and kills me.

Wait, you can insta kill jaraxxus with Sacrificial pact? Thats awesome.

 

For real style points, finish off your opponent with Bane of Doom to summon a random demon.

Some of the stupid little interactions Hearthstone has are awesome.

Two of those can instakill anyone after, what, turn 7?

Unless it's not targetable and instantly heals your hero, in which case it's fine.

 

For the love of god, never let an Auchenai Soul Priest stick on the board at any point.

Unless that's hero-only healing? Doesn't specifically say, though, so I'm kinda inclined to think that it's just "heal target."

 

Is that not a druid spell, I thought by the color the forbidden shaping was the priest spell?

 

It's a Paladin spell, I think?
