Let me amend that: Never let a priest thoughtsteal that card and then stick an Auchenai. ;D

Any card can be a Priest card with the power of thoughtsteal.

 

Inb4 someone somehow gets an Auchenai (Sylvanas, Discover, w/e) does the combo and posts it on youtube.

 

Oh, with some help of friends, anything (or anyfin) is possible. It's just probably not going to be a reliable OTK method. Consider you need to either steal one/two with Thoughtsteal, then add Auchenai and possibly Velen, or have two and somehow acquire the Auchenai - which is pretty much limited to Sylvanas and Piloted Sky Golem for Paladin, I want to say?

 

So I had the weirdest moment today in tavern brawl, I had a Tiny knight of evil on an empty board. I then played my astral communion and got around 7 buffs on the minion. That wasn't the weird part though, it's that it discarded one card and then buffed the minion showing all the animations.

Felt like a whole minute that I had to watch the astral communion animation, it was like hardcore bm vs my opponent.

 

The mage spell is minion only, won't see play, too inefficient. Arcane Blast fits the necessary niche in tempo mage, and flame lance is probably better in a control/grinder...and it doesn't see play.

I like the priest minion spell though. 6 mana and 8 mana are by far the two best for it in standard. To the point that it's better to hero power and then use it with 10 mana over taking the 10 mana minions.

 

Forbidden Flame needs to be able to target heroes too, make it the ultimate flexi spell.

As it stands, it's only redeeming quality is that it's flexible.

 

What it feels like to play Dragon Priest with like half your deck being Dragon cards.

So... Twisting nether that draws you into fatigue?

 

Probably too slow to matter unless your opponent over commits?

 

It's alot different than the original Doom

 

Doom could be really good in combolock. Either Malygos version or Leeroy version - where you need to basically draw whole deck, but can't risk tapping too much due to health.
