I'm thinking I pick Nexus again, what do y'all think?

 

Nexus for sure and treat it as a 7 drop at least.

 

1st game was against Mage who just so happend to Poly-Boared my Nexus on their turn 6. I wasn't mad because he couldn't get rid of the 4/2 boar. They played unstable portal turn 8 and got Boom and it just spiraled out of control from there and ended with Pyroblast to face.

2nd game was against Priest who had entombed Nexus and had Velen but I toughed it out to take the win.

I'm taking a frakin break to hopefully breakup the bad juju.

 

Treat the first one like a 5 drop. When they use removal on it and think you're horrible? BAM, second one.

 

I also drafted Fencing Coach so I can get that turn 5 Nexus spell. I'll continue after my dinner so hopefully no more bad games come up.

 

So two new cards here and here.

First card is obviously an antique healbot replacement with a bigger body but more situational use and, in my opinion, making the 5 mana pricetag kind of expensive. Don't know how effective it would be considering the amount of minions needed to even warrant the same amount of healing could easily just redo the damage.

The second card is... kind of meh. Might see it with the rogue legendary for a new miracle rogue or in tempo mage. Other than that, I don't think this card has any other niches available.

 

Whelp, deck finished 3-3 after facing back-to-back yolo face decks. In the 6th game yolo druid topdecked a frakin Claw to put me at 1 health. Nexus saved me with a Light of the Naaru but it didn't matter because the very next turn the druid topdecked Living Roots. Nexus gave me a Animal Companion but I got leokk instead of Misha.

Made 12 wins with a Mage, only worth noting because I actually beat the same guy for wins 11 and 12 (which is a funny turnaround from my last deep run where I lost to the same guy twice to end 11-3)



I've definitely done worse with decks that looked stronger, so am pleased with this result.

I'd never play that Mukla in my miracle Rogue... That new Rogue legendary much better for that.

This deck is counter intuitive to this brawls theme but it's free wins. Weapon-up, smack face and keep proc-ing traps for infinite bow value.

 

I'm sure there's some lovers of reno/grinder mage around - might even have a place in freeze as a 1-of.

New mage spell - 5 mana. Create 3 random mage spells in hand.

 

Mmmmmmmmm.

 

Awesome for fatigue mage. Maybe freeze too, if there's enough room.

 

Apparently the next expansion comes out this month. I should have 4000 gold by then to spend on cards !

 

Might as well not even create that card unless they're going to change Big Game Hunter. Hell, a lot of the new cards are made useless by BGH, so it's kind of pointless to have any excitement for 'em.

If they are going to change BGH, I don't know why they don't just mention it so people can actually get excited by the new cards.

 

Seems completely unvaiable but hilarious

There are ways it'd work, but won't be competitive. Just fun.
