But there's no reason to take the current meta into account in any way. The moment new cards are introduced, the meta is gone.

Very interesting Card. Seems like a high mana replacement for Shredder, but i don't think there are that many useful 3-Drops that could come of it. Mukla, Acolyte of Pain, Dark Cultist and maybe Harvest Golem.

 

It's a damn great arena card, at the very least. 5/5 for 6 mana is on Frost Elemental range, and the battlecry is arguably better. Of course, Elemental has situations where the freeze is invaluable but more generally bringing a sure 5/5 and another body on the board for 6 mana is much more worth it.

I don't see it fitting very easily into constructed decks, but it's a good card I'd say.

Average stats on 3-costs are something like 2.6/3.1. Doesn't quite have the potential downside of Shredder popping a Doomsayer or getting Kvaldir / Chow from your Hungry Dragon, but it's also got less amazing cards like popping Manastorm, Minibot, or even just a Knife Juggler.

Best is probably the Blademaster, though I don't think anyone's going to complain about Felguard, Arcane Golem, Mukla, or Mounted Raptor showing up.

Even the average 6 mana 7.6/8.1 seems pretty great to me.

Great arena card. Maybe for tempo too. Not sure.

 

Golem is essentially Huffer - can come in useful, and sometimes, all it does is 4 dmg to face. Top tier, sure, but the statlines on Mukla and Blademaster are just far more useful - and of those, I prefer Blademaster because I prefer 2 health over 1 attack.

It's just that there are less awesome 3 drops - I think - than there are awesome 2-drops. A lot of 3-drops have situational effects - Hobgoblin, Iron Sensei, Fencing Coach - or are Battlecry or Combo cards - SI:7, Van Cleef, Stablemaster. Sure, you're not getting a Scarab or a Captain's Parrot, but are Alarm-o-Bot or any of the myriad 2/2s Battlecry/Combo better?

 

I'm not entirely comfortable comparing this card to shredder tbh, but if we're going to, I'd take a battle cry over rattle most days, especially in battlecry mage deck.

 

Battlecry mage? What would you include in this deck besides Brann Bronzebeard, Ethereal Conjurer and maybe a Healbot?

 

Goblin Blastmage, Jewelled Scarab, Spellslinger ?

 

So you would combine it with mechs? Which makes it only interesting for wild mode

They probably made another mage hero, because it's only for charity and doesn't make them money. If they released a hero for another class, a lot more people would buy it and they would loose much more money.

 

No idea how this monstrosity is functional, but the results speak for themselves.

Also, guys, I haven't really ever played rogue, but I now have a wish to. I don't have LoE or BRM, but I've got basically everything else. What good rogue decks can I make?
