I'm not sure if MalyRogue is even that viable now with one less spell to hit face with.

Blade Flurry is basically Shadowflame now, and evis, ss and shiv are only spells that hit face (and I only really have room for 4 of them in my deck atm).

Maybe if I tweak to get another shiv and SS in place of loatheb and one other. I dunno. Hard to beat control priest / war without Maly combo, so I gotta think of something.

 

The new legendary gives you those toxin cards which could have value with Maly?

There's also some interesting combo potential with the new 1/1 for 1 mana copy guy that I'd bet will see play in a combo deck like Maly-rogue, even if not the existing form of it.

 

You think Maly ever lasts more than a turn? Lol

 

While it is rare it can happen, not consistently of course.

 

Ben just announced that we will get 2 daily that rewards a total of 10 WoG packs:

1. Win 2 games in Standard mode and get 5 WoG packs.
2. Win 7 games in Standard mode and get 5 WoG packs.

We get 13 free WoG packs, everyone should be happy!

I'm kind of let down by Rogue ultimately. They seem to be pushing raptor? Not really that interesting, though it might be a good deck for climbing. Maybe have to craft the deathrattle OG.

The removal of BF's face damage kind of makes Maly's presence unnecessary.

Miracle probably still works. Maybe even as a pirate deck. I'll let the smarter people come up with a control rogue if it exists - not sure how it works without armour or heal though...

 

Sitting at rank 5 and wondering if I should make the push for legend or wait for the new set. After seeing the new cards I'm just going to play the mostly unchanged freeze mage in the clown fiesta ladder that is coming soon.

I run the first iteration. For standard, we'll lose mad scientist and healbot. Not yet sure what replacements I'll go with. Most likely more cycle cards for scientists.

 

Freeze is my second fav deck. Curious how it changes in standard.

Shatter looks decent.

Oh, also, what's the point of N'zoth? They took out all the good rattle cards and didn't replace them...? Still only Cairne and Sylvanas. Maybe that infested tauren?

 

Just went and watched that, looks like Hearth will be completely different after this patch. Actually quite a good thing I think.

Though I'm worrying a little bit about Arena. I wonder if Arena would benefit from some sort of standardisation, as synergy in there is becoming increasingly rare.

On that note, I'd be curious as to how many games you guys all have played of ranked and arena.

For example, i have 718 total wins in play mode, and 750 wins in Arena.

 

2188 Ranked, 466 arena. I don't play a ton of arena, but I have a pretty decent average. 6.3 average since LoE, which is when most of my wins are.

 

Across both my American and EU accounts..

1181 in play mode. Fuck play mode.

4478 in arena. Arena, fuck yeah.

Been playing since the first wave of the beta. (I miss you, Golden Hogger I pulled pre beta-wipe)

 

Am I the only one theorycrafting and making decks? I'll post what garbage I've cobbled together later and yall can rip it to shreds. Should be fun! We should all do it, see if we can get some usable decks by launch, lol.

Here's my go at a Control Rogue C'thun deck.

Wasn't sure about SI7 over Skulker, esp with Brann and Shadowcaster in the deck, but the deck already has a lot of 'deal damage to undamaged minions' already. Kinda curious if Blade's battlecry adds the attack value twice, even if he can only destroy a card once. There's a lot of awesome Shadowcaster targets in this deck too - the best probably being Brann, in which you case you can double Shadowcaster the Shadowcaster and laugh your tits off...

I wanted to fit some weapons in too for control purposes. Rogue lost a lot of its board clear, so the single target removals and weapons might be super important for control. Maybe that's a bigger reason to include skulker, esp with Brann there. I dunno.

 

I think I disenchanted my Golden Hogger for Dr. Boom. Then I got Dr. Boom out of a pack 5 days later.
