I received 505 gold for a 12 win Warlock run, the highest of all my 12 win runs and just in time for some WotOG packs.

 

Patch 5.0 is live now.

The Arena now rewards packs from the most recent expansions starting Tuesday along with a better chance of getting a 2nd pack from another Standard set!!!!!!!!

 

I got 8k dust from sharding my nerfed cards...

 

I think, of the nerf list, the only ones I didn't dust were owl and mark.

It's pretty awesome knowing that, before I even open a pack, I'll definitely have xaril and emp.

 

I really want to craft a Darwin Shaman deck on Tuesday. Heh, the Master of Evolution card looks so damn fun.

 

I'm so worried about mid-range shaman and aggro pally. I want to make a control rogue C'thun desperately, but I foresee getting raped by those decks...

Had 2 golden lores, 2 golden BGH that I dusted with nerf announcement, plus finally clicked the button.

Also, control warrior is kind of absurd right now, with combo druid getting nerfed, and aggro taking a hit.

Did my push, and shot up to rank 3 with 14-2 win/loss. Elise, 2 deathlords, 2 belchers, a gorehowl - fatigue/control heavy, decks can't punish you for being greedy right now.

12k dust from my disenchanting.

Got.. 16,500 stored up now, along with 6k gold from arena runs. Neat.

Accidentally queued up as combo druid after the nerf. It was hilarious, I got smashed so hard.

 

Yeah I got about 12k dust too. Feels good.

I hope Blizzard does nerfs more frequently, but this is probably the last in a long time. Hopefully after the next set rotates out/in.

I like how they're making the card pack from arena rewards default to the latest pack (and also a higher chance at a second pack from within the set). I'd prefer if they rewarded tokens that could be used to pick what pack you want, but this was the next best thing, I guess.

 

Ultima is just some random that had a good string of games. He's never even hit legend before, and just choked hard on the (relatively) big stage.

I feel bad for the guy for getting shit on everywhere, given he's super outclassed skill-wise vs. SuperJJ, who is one of the best, heh.

That said, if you were around for the Grand Tournament launch, things were really fucked up for the first few hours. I wouldn't expect coherent servers until tomorrow evening.

The amount of obnoxious "Opening packs" streams is going to be extreme, tomorrow.

I mean, I understand why it's popular, but damn if it doesn't feel like the most idiotic thing in the world when people watch en masse and donate to see people open packs.
