I don't believe in Mal for the reasons that me, Tom, and Newcomb have all posted at various times. But like the short version is that Mal is super mechanics oriented, so mechanical talk is bog standard, but some of his mechanics stuff has just felt like it exists to keep people from realizing his non-mechanical analysis isn't very deep.

Like I dismissed Jan/Tom like 4 times yesterday and after it was pointed out to me that we'd already lost if the team was Newcomb/Jan I dismissed Jan altogether, and Mal opened the day with responding my Mal paranoia post by saying I was clearly just making up reads because I'm about Jan paranoia.

And I mean yeah, that's OMGUS-y on both our parts, but like idk man. Mal literally said that because he mentioned scum might use the IK they couldn't use the IK to throw us off on the number of people left. Idk, that just doesn't make sense to me.

...but now I need to think about it for a second. Like, is it really worse than lynching me? If it is Mal/Tom, my lynch probably loses us the game, whereas a no lynch just puts us in a nasty, nasty spot for tomorrow.

You know Tom, the solution is just to lynch you and let you shoot Newcomb. I think that wipes one partner from every group.
