Sombra is a ton of fun.

    1. Her Uzi is frustrating to use against smaller targets even at close range due to the spray pattern, you're likely to miss a ton of bullets unless RNJesus looks favourably on you. Alternatively, there are cases where at medium range the stars align and you absolutely shred targets. It's going to take some getting used to because unlike, say Tracer or S76 where you know your damage output, her's is seriously variable in that it relies on the spray pattern connecting, which is out of your control.

    2. Translocator is a ton of fun, but it has an activation time once you hit the recall button. I thought I could sneak and jump into the Ilios well and tp on top of them, but I fell to my death before it activated and sent me to safety.

It's super frustrating to play against a Sombra who has her translocator permanently setup so that she can escape a losing fight on a point, heal up and then run right back in.

    3. Hacking is very useful when the opportunity presents itself. I was able to ruin a Pharah's day completely due to it's range and hiding. Waited for her to fly by and then hacked her. All she can do is hover, or fall. It leaves her open for being sprayed down because she can't suddenly change her movement vector.

Against an outnumbered d.va/winston it's brutal. It stops them using their escape abilities to get out of a fight and recover.

Hacking is super punishing against people who rely on escape abilities to compensate for poor engagement choices.

Alternatively, it's not very useful against Hanzo and has semi-usefulness against mcree or S76, disabling their utility and turning it into a pure aim fight—which as stated previously forces you to rely on the spray pattern being favorable.

    4. Not much to say about invisibility. It's useful to flank and get around targets, and has some usefulness as an escape tool if you can break line of sight with your enemy.

    5. Not much to say about the Ult, in the games I played it didn't provide any strong use for me because it was a QP pure pub game and we were on defense.

The enemy sombra managed to disable us all, using invis to sneak on the point ahead of her team, EMP and then translocate back to her team and engage with them.

Over all I'm super excited about her as a character and am going to grab the golden weapon for her when she is finally released.

Cosmetic wise, I'm digging her Epic 'Viral' skin which is pink/silver, and her 'Augmented' skin which is neon pink/black with blonde hair. Totally has a ganguro vibe going on.

I bought the pulse one myself, but apparently the hacked one plays someone elses intro first and cuts it off—rofl yeah that. xD

That moment where that poor Ana thinks she got POTG, only to be booped by Sombra.

Great. much more responsive. You dont just hover in place anymore, it has enough boost to actually move you.

I wish there was some sort of draft for 1 v 1 though so that I can stop getting Symmetra or Torb and I can get more of the fun 1 v 1s. Thank god they removed Lucio and Mercy from the roster though, those matchups are a disaster.

So Sombra does not feel like a offense hero to me. More like a Utility? Love how mobile she is with the translocator but i hate the uzi spread.

Offense: For attacking areas / Moving forward.
    Defense: For defending areas
Support: Bolsters allies in some form.
    Tank: To absorb/block attacks.

She fits in with Offense as the OW team has described the categories.

What is the highest Skill Rating you guys reached this season?

2770 here before I started queuing with some friends and tanked down to 2300, I'm back up to 2550 now. I feel like I could have reached diamond if I didn't get tilted as often.

I think my highest is like 3,400 mostly by playing a bit of everything. Only hero I refuse to play is Lucio until recently where I've been trying to get to Masters so I'm going maximum tryhard.

Nowadays, lowest I ever go is like 3,100. Below 3,100 and games tend to be pretty easy to win and above 3,400 games can be incredibly hard to win if one person doesn't really do 'meta' picks.

    Currently 2448. Highest 2640, lowest 2350.

Last season My max was 63 (3150), average 60 (3000)

I've had... seriously bad luck with games this season to the point where It feels like a coin flip before the game even starts. Leavers, Ragers, Trolls, O'my. There is this.. invisible line, around 2800, and below it games are just trash.

You can feel the difference in the games.

Going to give it one last push over the next few days and try to at least hit diamond. I'm not too optimistic since I've run into several people who were 3500+ and have dropped 1k rating dicking around. :\

I start off every game by saying hello to my team and telling them we will have an easy win because X player on the enemy team is terrible/trolling. It starts things off in a light tone instead of a team raging at each others picks.

Also when somebody picks something terrible I tell them to go with it for 1 or 2 lives but if it's not going well to please chance after- We all want to win after all.

I really enjoy gaining lots of SR when I do well and only dropping 15-20 when I don't win, it really encourages you to always try your best even when the game is lost.
