I'll sleep on that. Last thing - did I miss you following up on owner's color wall?
    Majube - Mhm.

As of yet I haven't followed up on owner's wall or much of anyone elses. Since I haven't gotten a response from my gambit I'm going to look over and see where the overlap between the different walls posted so far fall.

You admit your behavior is scummy though.

Could you explain why only certain people have to give you details?

orly? what backs this statement up?

I didn't remember there being any noobs in the game. And when I ask that sort of question, my thought is I want to see where someone who has a different viewpoint from me is coming from.

Who's the newbie? I don't know which player you are addressing when you say newbie. "let's lynch this scum" Are you saying Waco and you are actually teammates? woah!!!

thanks for your vote of love

That's too limiting. There are almost always exceptions to the rule, even if you haven't encounter them to date.

Ignoring it assumes the person isn't paying close attention to them in the first place. You prove that ignoring it would not do me any good as you have written up a detailed analysis of some of the things I've said.

Also, if I ignored it, more questions would go unanswered by other people, which I would rather not have.

    lol, I like that juxtaposition.

    1.
^This was his first post. Like WH7 where he was town, he also made a joke intro post. What I find very different here is that this post is a lot safer than the one he did last game. Last game, he opened joked about being on the witch as claimed me and Newcomb to jokingly be his partners. This game, this post is stark different. It feels a little forced imo. Like he's trying to become a town voice early on or trying to get people to trust him.

Overall, there feels like there is an agenda on him. He is trying to be townie. And then he uses this whole agenda to shift attention onto him voting for Majube.

    2.
When someone else claims to be a priest, he gives this response, but doesn't change his vote at all. Yes, it was still early, and it was a joke. But, it's kind of too easy. The post itself doesn't say much.

    3.
This post seemed delayed to me. I don't know; some of Waco's posts look sort of frozen. He'll post for a little while, but then it's like a few extra moments before he responds back. I feel like maybe he's taking more time out to type up his posts, which is more of scummy trait imo.

    4.
^^Here, he asks for justification on who the question is directed at. If he was town, would he really care who it was directed at? This question shows he is concerned about how he looks to other people.

    5.
^^This post was responding to Delphine voting miner or that whole interaction.

If Waco and miner were together, I feel like Waco would be more concerned about the vote on miner. But it doesn't sound like he's concerned. But Waco kid's response feels awkward. So I feel like there's 2 things to be said here:
    1. I feel like Waco was struggling to find something to say.
    2. The awkwardness though could come from if Waco and Delphine are mafia teammates.
2.1 Sure, there is a chance that he could be responding to two townies posting, but why would Waco throw a hint of sarcasm in there?

    6.
^^Here, Waco felt the need to clarify or add "catching scum". This is another example, imo, of someone trying to look townie by saying all the "right things."

    6.5
^^Sometimes, scum mention each other in the thread in order to encourage them to be active. So part of me things, they could be together, but he might actually just be trying to pocket him.

    7.

^^This post links The Waco Kid even more to Delphine as it looks like The Waco Kid might have some tell on her, but he's not pushing it. Overall, this looks like a week attempt at distancing a partner.

    Yes :D

    1. (not going to be as detailed as my notes on waco unfortunately)
^^ Calling Bill Door scum seemed too easy to me. Or Bill Door seemed like the kind of person that people would easily push on. Fluff didn't wow me. My suspicion is probably partially from how different our reads are turning out.

My behavior there wasn't scummy. I'm glad that later in this post you moved from pointless shade to actual accusations.

Sure. Kai said he saw something but didn't mention what. This is standard "make the target paranoid" pressure. Plus you also get free reactions from other people. I don't even honestly know if he actually saw something or not. He doesn't have to explain right there for that reason, but if he pushed me, he'd need to explain what he saw at that point.

You, however, said that you "saw the same thing". That's an option select, because you don't have to commit to what you actually saw, you can just wait till Kai explains and then say "yeah that". AND you were willing to further advance a case against me than Kai, which makes you more likelynch to be sincere and less likely to be reaction testing. Sincere people need to give explanations.

I do. That statement is an assertion of my beliefs. Feel free to disagree.

This is both jarizok and majube's first games, as both have nearly constantly alluded to. Are you reading the thread? Or just trying to dumbtell?

Don't be dense, I was maliciously paraphrasing you there to make my point, not saying those things myself.

All those other quote snips later in the post aren't worth responding to, I've already fully addressed them earlier in the thread.

    Oh, except this one:
    What?

This makes no sense. How do you go from "no waco I won't answer a role fish question" to "mal, I can't ignore a role fish question from waco because I couldnt pretend to not see it, I'd look bad and it would allow other people to also dodge questions".

Obviously you can pointedly ignore a direct question everybody knows you saw. Ignoring a role fish question doesn't make you look bad. And when people dodge questions you either note that, or you ask them again.

I'm still catching up on the thread at the moment. I see your point now about the "saw the same thing deal". As to am I reading the thread, well if just saw my big post, I'm reading it as well as I can and taking notes.

On of those guys had mentioned playing mafia in real life, I would not count that person as being clueless about how the game works. I think I also prefer thinking about them as regular players as it feels like I'm giving each of them an equal shot at impressing me. Or maybe that's not the right words. I feel like on one hand they should be engaged with more; as I feel like they will gain more out of the experience, or sending them through the ringer sooner will help them know how to better improve themselves for the future.

But calling them noobs feels like their outsiders or their opinion doesn't matter. Like I don't know, the way you say it makes me feel like they are less important than they actually are.

You don't get to decide that.

I'm saying I had to make a response to waco's post. I couldn't just ignore it. My response though was that the question itself was trap. So I could not answer it.

Laying the ground work so I can pick this up later, but one thing that is still bugging me is Majube ignoring my first wall post. He says that he thought I changed my mind on him thus his placement at the top of the list, but again I ask; then why not prod me over the other names, particularly mal, who I on more than one occasion agreed with very thoroughly now all of a sudden being in the number one scummiest position?

I really feel like there is something there, beginning player or not, especially one who has read up on a couple of games(pretty sure both Maj and Jarizok said they did this, the latter quite a few games, which also begs the question why mal and I had to explain so many things to Jarizok, which now has me wondering about Jarizok and mal's potential alignment).

My incomplete wall for posterity's sake, now in technicolor.

    Maj
    Waco
    Palindrome
    Miner|Bill|Citrus
    Delphine|Mal

    owner's wall.

    Jarizok's wall.

    Miner's wall.

    Majube's wall.

Will do a fuller comparison on who agrees with who on which player and placement later, but three out of four have owner and mal in favorable or mid-top positions and myself as another common denominator, with one of HF, mal, and miner also there per posted list.

    ---------- Post automerged at 07:04 ---------- Previous post was at 07:03 ----------

EBWOP: The colors on my wall listed above are aligned to the post in question, not my current thoughts, which I'll get around to also later.

So Majube is on some weird flailing around, new scum player shit.

    miner's still maybe scum

    I like waco, zenzao, delphine.

Kai is doing his annoying not doing anything thing day 1 thing.

owner's posts are too long so I guess she's probably town.

Everyone else in the game has left no impression on me. I'm happy to lynch in either of miner/majube.

Ok, so first of all, I don't agree at all with Waco having votes on him right now (I'm kind of surprised he has two other votes on him). There's no utility to lynching conf!scum because we're not getting any information out of it, especially this early on. If I didn't know he was conf!scum, I would actually be leaning town on him right now because I think his carefree/bluntness early on are more indicative of Town!Waco than Scum!Waco.

I'm also not ok with the wagon Majube. Primarily because he's new and I am not nearly convinced enough to consider lynching him. Secondarily to that, he is posting very frequently, and I would expect if he's newb!scum it would become relatively apparent fairly quickly. While lynching newb!town D1 is just horrible.

On a related note, I would not be ok at all with lynching Jarizok, along similar lines to those for Majube above, let alone the fact that he has an even higher post count. Also because he's conf!town but that's just besides the point.

Speaking of town, I'm feeling pretty good about Mallorean being Town, because his play does not at all jive with my current expectations for his scum!play, and he's one of the few players that were driving the game forward in the past day or two.

So I'm currently at a list of Town and/or not lynching candidates: Waco, Jarizok, Mallorean, Majube

The following (SIX) players need to move their votes elsewhere at this time: Owner, Majube, Waco Kid, Jarizok, Zenzao, Miner

Also hi Proph! We seem to be continuing our trend of usually being in games concurrently when replacements occur (though both living this time)

---------- Post automerged at 01:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:34 PM ----------

Wellp, was going to look at Delphine and Owner more closely next, but my internet's being absolute shit, so I'm just going to try again later and hope it's being better. 30 seconds to open a page jesus christ

Can you elaborate on Waco being conf!scum? I'd also disagree on the utility of lynching anyone who is conf!scum.
