I believe you are overestimating his likehood of being lynched and underestiming my understanding of DLP regulars.

---------- Post automerged at 01:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:09 AM ----------

I really have no idea, Math. Perhaps you following along is what convinced you it was true, and you're simply using it as an excuse to clear yourself now. Perhaps you truthfully didn't think he was the dob. I find this sort of speculation tiresome and irrelevant.

I think you don't want to accept Waco scum and you want to call me scummier and call me a 'regular' to back that up when you haven't said a single word to me in over a year and I have ample amounts of meta that suggest I am conservative as scum. If anything it's something someone would frame me for.

I was referring to Waco as the regular in that case. I admit to never having a good grasp on your mindset.

Except that's the entire game of mafia. You can't discount evidence because it doesn't suit your narrative. It's very unFonti like. You can't on one hand speculate I would soup but then not follow that rabbit hole to why would Math put Jan first? If you start with a hypothesis it must be followed to its natural conclusion.

I.E. assume Newcomb is scum. Newcomb posts flavor posts and lynch posts. Therefore Newcomb is not scum. I cannot discount the flavor posts in order to still call him scum.

You are hypothesizing that I souped. Then you would have to assume that a team with me on it would allow a Jan soup of DoB when it was very clear that I did not believe that Jan was the DoB. You have to explain that.

    ---------- Post automerged at 22:15 ---------- Previous post was at 22:15 ----------

Then saying I'm scummier is irrelevant and saying I would soup is irrelevant if you don't know my mindset.

Prove to me that it was very clear that you believed Jan was not the DOB.

I don't believe I am on either front here, relatively confident he's scum here.

    While you're around though I need a few things elaborated on you from you;

    1) Can you run me through your vote being on Koalas over Miner throughout large portions of yesterday? I brought it up yesterday but I never really agreed with the reasoning you had behind him being scum whereas the case on Miner was very strong.

    2) Can you run me through your read on my slot; it doesn't really mesh throughout the game given a) You had a town read on Turtle, b) Miner attempted to push a Von-Turtle world, c) I was a large part of the reason Miner was lynched and d) I think you should be able to get a fairly easy grip on me via my posts alone.

Not bothering to spend time looking into Miners interactions with Von/Q/Typhon because they're always town here, similarly won't bother looking at his interactions with Koalas because he's town here barring a Jari guilty. Just over half way through the thread looking at interactions (Page 14 of 26 in 50ppp), taking a short break then getting back to it but really hoping someone is going to be around to discuss them with me when I'm done.

That was my proof of knowing Jan wasn't like you asked.

The DoB was when she crumbed about making something great again (cited earlier). I buffed it with Bernie claim.

The idea was Donald Trump was a dirty old bastard and I shook with Jan later that I knew Jan wasn't the DoB with the love comment.

Seriously Fonti I answered the question asked. You don't make these mistakes as town.

I'm really starting to think my tinfoil theory is more likely.

Fonti, don't forget to get around to answering #1288. On an ungame related note, the cider/rum drink you were describing earlier sounds a lot like it's just mulled wine relpaced with cider (Which is a downgrade) & rum poured on top (Upgrade); I'll contemplate trying it when winter comes around.

Just read up to #1140, no time to catch up, start my new job today. As for Role reasons on Jan, my guess would not have been DOB. I sincerely hope my QT soup attempt will go better than this one did. Ill catch up more when I get to my coffeebreak or something.

Alright finished reading through the thread up to the lynch for interactions.

Still really dislike Flufs #373 and the timing of the vote on Math makes sense as scum with Miner as does the timing behind the lump vote on Miner in #425. It makes sense if scums plan was to save Miner D1 by getting him lumped & trading him for the priest. Do think his comment re; policy lynching Fluff over lynching Math in #683 does point towards Fluff being town but given there's no vote attached or real effort in following through it doesn't make them as unlikely partners as I thought initially, outside of that there's little between them. Still think Fluff might be scum here.

The timing and manner of Miner asking Jari about his Fonti read in #251 rules out a tin foil world of Miner/Fonti/Jari where Fonti coached Jari into making the "Soup in QT as town" comment in #287 which I still read as very town. Him trying to nullify the town reads on Jari in #460 points towards Jari being town. I really dislike Jaris fencesitting on Miner in #564, it makes a lot of sense to do such to a partner there. Miners read on Jari in #635 points to Jari being town. And again I don't like the timing of Jaris vote on Miner in #658 or him pushing Miner to be lumped in #678. Miner looks to be trying to get Jari to join him on the Typhon wagon in #809 and the manner he's doing so makes more sense with him trying to get a misvote to push the mslynch chance rather than a partner and Jari responds with a town read on him in #817. All up most of Miners mentions and comments about Jari point towards Jari actually being town, the only concerns are from Jaris end onto Miner which is most likely just explained by a misread of Miner by him. So back to feeling pretty good about Jari.

---------- Post automerged at 03:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:40 AM ----------

Miners read on Jan in #172 and Jans response in #173 makes me feel better about Jan. Miner attempting to tell Jari to be hesitant reading Jan as town in #193 similarly points towards Jan being town; don't think he attempts to get his scum partner thrown back into a players scum pool. Dislike Jans vote on Math in #849. I really liked how he was one of the earlier people to switch to Miner after my replace in (I believe he was second after Typhon) in #939, I think as scum he may stay on Math slightly longer in hope that lynch still goes through over Miner. Overall interaction wise I think Jans more likely town and the more I think about it the less I see him wasting a soup attempt solely to try and grab town-cred. Think Jans just town.

---------- Post automerged at 03:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:42 AM ----------

Really the only world I can see Jan being scum with is a Miner/Math/Jan one and I don't think that's the case at all at the moment.

---------- Post automerged at 03:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:44 AM ----------

Wacos read on Miner in #165 does make sense as scum attempting to distance with Miner. Really dislike that he didn't bring up his Miner scum read until he was questioned about it (This is something I didn't notice before) in #513 but again this makes a lot of sense as distancing. I'm not entirely sure what to make of Miners response to his reasoning in #543, I'll have to take another look at it again soon but but initial instinct is that it's a in a very different manner than he was posting to Typhon. Miner himself gives a very fencesitty read on Waco inside #635. The order that Waco wants to go (ie. Not lynching Miner but lumping him) in #707 has a lot of scum motivation. Think it's very probable Waco is mafia here.

---------- Post automerged at 03:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:45 AM ----------

Miners response to Kai talking about himself existing in endgame in #177 points slightly more towards Kai being town specifically due to the "Soup can end the game at any point" section. Him bringing up Kai not selflumping in #198 points in the same manner albeit it's a weak tell. Kais vote on Math and ignoring Miner in #857 has scum motivation behind it. Really there's not enough between them to make much of it.

Math popping in to the thread after Typhon put up his big case on Miner in #537 and #548 but not commenting on it at all is troubling but admittedly I don't think they'd have caught up that far yet. Miner defending Math in #683 makes sense as partners given that him being lumped/confscum D2 gains nothing from bussing there. The fact that for the most part Miner/Math avoided commenting and interacting with each other is a huge concern.

---------- Post automerged at 03:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:47 AM ----------

I like the timing of Fontis vote on Miner in #260 and like her getting people to look at Miner in #269. Find the reasoning behind her town read on Waco in #312 very weak especially in comparison to her reads on others and could see it be her town-reading a partner. I do like her reasoning behind her Miner scum read in the post but her lumping him with Koalas and voting Koalas over Miner in #314 when her reasons for Miner are significantly stronger is a huge issue. I like her prodding Von about his Miner read again in #361 and #419 and again in #495. Similarly to what he does with Waco Miner gives a very half-assed fencesitty read on Fonti in #635 but dislike her pushing him to be lumped over lynched in #756. Her being ready for a hammer in #861 doesn't sit well. My town read on her is officially dead. Based on the reasoning behind her reads yesterday she should have been pushing much harder for a Miner lynch which she never did; entire thing makes a lot of sense of her wanting to get town-cred for initially pushing and scum reading Miner but having him be 'confirmed scum' D2 via lumping/checking him. That way she's trading him for the double vote power, the priest being outed and her getting town cred.

---------- Post automerged at 04:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:52 AM ----------

So right now I'd bet the game on Typhon/Q/Von/Koalas being town. I'm feeling really good about Jan and Jari being town too. I can't foresee us ever losing lynching inside the remaining 5 names and with scum only having 1 soup left we should have this game fairly locked already now.

Which means there's two scum inside Fonti/Waco/Math/Kai/Fluff.

Based solely on how yesterday played out and peoples interactions I think Fonti/Waco/Math are actually the more likely scum inside the pool, the first two both provided strong reasoning for Miner being scum but pushed to lynch elsewhere and wanted to lump Miner which had a lot of scum motivation to it and the latter had very little interaction either direction with Miner nor did they push each other.

---------- Post automerged at 04:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:00 AM ----------

Would be nice if someone was around so I'm not just talking to myself.

---------- Post automerged at 04:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:02 AM ----------

    Alright, going through todays stuff;

Jans reaction towards himself being souped in #1120 comes across as fairly genuine and makes me feel even better about him being town here. Jans paranoia over me potentially being scum in #1134 and the way he handles it is very town. Don't really agree with his reasoning for town reading Math in #1141 but can follow where he's coming fro with it.

Kais reaction towards the soup occuring in #1122 actually comes across as somewhat town.

Still dislike Wacos reads order in #1131 particularly the placement of Typhon & myself. His post about the change in tone from Math and the fact that Math/Miner never voted each other in #1136 is a solid one. His attempt at pushing a Miner/Math/Me world in #1140 and the following posts is something I have a really hard time buying him genuinely believing, also find it hard to believe he's genuinely considering a world where Miner was town here too.

Von you need to stop with the "Too scummy to be scum" stuff like #1142 it's bad logic that needs to be weeded out of games.

Still dislike most of the reasoning that Math is pushing on Waco with in #1208. Don't find their vote on me in #1247 given it's not hard to actually read my post properly and the fact that this was pointed out but the move away from voting me didn't happen till much later makes little sense as town. The discussion about why she wouldn't have read Jan DOB does nothing for me as it could easily have been why she did think he was the DOB.

Don't buy that Fonti town reads Waco to the strength she implies (Especially based on such weak reasoning) and doesn't have a town read on me in #1215 given a) She town read my predecessor and b) There's no way she can genuinely think I replace in, hard buss a partner and then lolsoup at night. Fonti replying to a fairly trivial post by Math but ignoring my #1288 has a lot of scum motivation to it; I think town there would try and talk over those reads/actions. I can also very much see her being the sort of player to go for a N1 soup here.

---------- Post automerged at 04:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:54 AM ----------

So I'd move Jan up to the lock town pile now with Von/Q/Koalas/Typhon. Jar is still slightly lower than that.

Don't want to lynch Kai anytime soon.

Think we need to focus in Math/Waco/Fonti/Fluff today. Out of those still most confident that Waco is scum here.

    Vote: Waco

The more I think about it the more I think lynching Waco->Math or Math->Waco always kills 1 scum here. I don't see a scum team that soups last night that doesn't include either of them. If someone thinks there's a scum tell with none of them that would do that I'd like to hear who/why.

---------- Post automerged at 05:38 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:37 AM ----------

I don't think Fonti does it unless one of those are her partners, otherwise she saves it another day when there's more information to guess based on since she assumes the lynch is likely in one of them two.

    unvote for now.

I wanted to re-read all, but unsure if option. My impulse reaction to the night was Mathblafe because they are always very confident in role reads. My vivid memory of Batmafia is being in the same AT as them and being taken down a whirlwind of confidently asserted roles.

I liked their reaction to tje soup though, seemed to project a confident mockery. I can't believe Math would be so b laise about being so verh wrong.

Also find it odd no one else sees Math the dame way. By the sounds of things they've not played since I, so maybemy memories are more vivid. Eh.

Don't like Waco claiming to be the force behind Math push yesterday. I need to re-read, but I recall him having that opinion for a while, but hardly being a force for anything. Also nred to re-read words on Miner.

Please dont roletalk Regfan. That is the way we lose.

On balance, i think Regfan has impressed me far more than fonti today, but dont want to lynch there. I think my statement earlier about Miner interaction holds.

Miner was scum. Alternate worlds are as likely ss Westeros.

@Q - I considered my post re; oracle claiming if Miner was town a necessary evil, it gives scum very minimal information while giving us a lot of confirmed information to work based on. Certainly worthwhile in the long run especially since there was a lot of unproductive paranoia/tin foils in the thread. Waco did make a big case against Math and was voting them throughout the whole day, I don't know if I'd call him the "Biggest force" given he didn't push it that hard but he certainly was always wanting their lynch.

Do you see a world where the scum team that souped last night doesn't include either Waco or Math at all? The absolute only one I see is if it was Jan fake souping but I don't think that's the case (Very -EV move for scum to make even if they get initial town cred & the scum QT I linked of his from Mini #6 shows he's probably not the sort for unneeded risky scum plays) and have a town read on his play today so far.
