Had one of the most frustrating game. We lose the fight for the point (KoH), and are reengaging through the middle choke (Nepal - the one with the slightly elevated point yeah?). We die. I call to go left, and change it up. We go mid. We die. I call to go left. We go mid. We die. Ad vitam eternam. Seriously, how hard is it to understand that at some point the enemy team is too well camped and you can't just brute force through a choke. Just go through one of the alternate route and actually get a chance to flank them, or disrupt their strat. Nope. Let's die.

Now, you said "we go mid," as if you didn't follow your own instructions and go left anyway? With the right champion(you didn't say who you were), some disruption from the flank, even by yourself, might have been useful anyway. Just trying to clarify what happened.

Sadly, I am support main and I tend to follow my tanks/dps. Each time I walked up the path to the left and watched as everyone just went straight to mid. I sighed and joined them. At least, we died together.

What he has neglected to tell you is about the objective best hero in the game.

    Hanzo.

He's got Genji's wall run for escapes. He's got Widow Ult as a basic ability. His other ability is Roadhog shotgun, except it can hit you around walls and one shot anyone 200 health and below. His arrow hit box, while nerfed, is still huge, and does excellent damage at range.

People will try and convince you not to pick Hanzo every map. These people are wrong baddies who fear your potential. A good Hanzo can carry any match, no matter how lost. And how do you become a good Hanzo?

Ryūga waga tekí wo kurau, brother. The dragon hungers.

If you cannot git gud, you must feed your way to heaven.

Lamora is a false prophet, and must be sent to the gulag.

    I'll say this on Hanzo:

Even in the hands of a pro, his damage is too inconsistent to be a solid pick.

That isn't always a bad thing. You generally one shot ppl if you headshot - or even body shot some dps - so you're not feeding supports, and if you can bait out the Zen ult, Zarya+Hanzo is the best wombo in the game.

If you can land at least 40% of your arrows though, just pick him. That's more than fine.

As a console Overwatch player, Hanzo on console is extremely satisfying. Especially when you get a mid air headshot on a Genji when he ults. Plus seeing a Genji reflect at the wrong time and you scatterarrow him.

    Or whenever you headshot Genji.

What I'm saying is I hate Genji.

In all serious console Hanzo, from my experience, can be a solid pick if you're good with him. I have no idea about the PC scene though.

In my journey through the low levels I've got to say it is highly satisfying to smack a Tracer in the face as Rienhardt. Or to escape Mei's Blizzard with my charge and then force her to ice herself with a fire strike so she can't head shot my team. I've got to play him more often.

I compare every Overwatch experience I've had to a single time I played Hanzo on Anubis in competitive.

My team wanted me to switch. I hesitated and went to another temporarily to be diplomatic, and someone instantly grabbed Hanzo.

Not to play, oh no. He picked Hanzo and immediately refused to leave spawn until I was on point with a different hero.

Cue Kill Bill sirens. I'm usually pretty laid back, so it was a pretty novel sensation to feel all the goodness and mercy in my heart dissipate in the course of a five second interaction.

I picked Winston. I went to point. And then immediately jump packed back as soon as I was sure I could outrun him back.

I listened to him salt out about with the grim approval of my barbarian ancestors rumbling in my ears as I ran back to point as Hanzo. Then I muted everyone, text and all, unrolled my butcher's tools in my mind, and set about my somber work.

Triple gold. 34 elims. A card for number of crits (15-20ish as I recall). And POTG sweeping the enemy off the second point to finally let us cap it after a frantic minute-and-a-half melee.

But when I tread the panes of the Rainbow Bridge, and stop before Tyr, and he asks what I have done to earn entry to Valhalla...

...I will point, in the tapestry of my living deeds, to the card chatroom, where I finally unmuted to find them still bitching about me. To where I pressed enter, and laid low all my all my so called comrades in a few strokes of a key.

gg ur welcome for the fukken carry, plebs

I tell you this, DLP: lonely are the glorious.

What I am quickly learning, at these low levels you are either dominating the enemy or your getting curbstompt, my last match this evening was a curb stomp, our composition was utter crap, I went Ana just so we would have a healer, we had a symmetra that placed no turrets, our d.va, 76 and genji kept running out from the point to try to solo the enemy team. After we lost the first point things went further downhill, every time I tried to get back to my team I kept getting focused fired and the rest of the team was scattered all over. And then after the match one of the chief offenders leaves a salty comment about not being healed before disconnecting.

If you have a Zarya, Hanzo is awesome.

If you don't, I wouldn't bother because you ain't Seagull.

Someone posted a picture from Ecopoint of a drawing taped to a wall that look remarkably like Winston dressed as Goku the Monkey King, also the D.va skin from the Korean twitter is pretty slick too

Here's D.Va's new skin, which is pretty good. Here's the Sun Wukong Winston sketch.

Article here doesn't say much else, but Blizzard confirmed it will be similar in scope to Junkenstein and Christmas, which both had unique brawls.

So, more stuff about Chinese New Year event, found by a Chinese player.

It's not just CNY, but also "Journey to the West"

    From Reddit

Not confirmed yet though. Might be faked, as the date doesn't match the one on the Korean spoiler, but is supposed to be the free trial (again), not the event itself. So still uncertain, but hopeful.

In the gulag where they belong. Roadhog 4 lyf.

Something I'd like to see is 'paired' skins. Like matching skin themes for Hog/Junk, Pharah/Ana, Genji/Hanzo, etc.
