    No I didn't. I wasn't asked.

And I didn't see any worlds with DLGN in them.

Then again I thought Jan was trying to hint partners to Fonti.

    *sigh*

So I don't know. I could literally pick anyone and make them feel like group scum. Y'all are way too scummy but I don't see any smoking guns except the Cobalt bit but Typhon townread them.

My arrogance causes us to lose games based on feedback so I am trying to listen.

    I'm here now.

Mal being town makes me reevaluate every game I've played in with him as town.

I still don't think Cobalt is scum here, and I also don't think fluff is scum. Fuck me sideways if I'm wrong. There's 8 of us, and since game's not over, it's either 4/2/1, 5/3, or 4/3/1. The latter two being the most likely. I'll assume 3 scum at the very least.

This means that I'd like to lynch Eco, Q, Math, dLGN in that order.

Somewhere we also need to decide on font and I honestly have no clue when that should be since every day from here on out will be mylo with a potential SK.

So yeah, those are my thoughts.

    Lynch: Eco

Does it look like we're even close to hard lynch?

This overreaction does not make you look better to me.

Oh yeah, hard lynches make voting merely a bad idea, not a stupid one. Oops.

Voting today is no different form any other day, though?

    Speaking of voting,

    Vote: Eco

Please explain what we could possibly get from mass claim?

I appear to have committed the cardinal sin of assuming this site's meta was more similar to my own than it is.

Why not vote at M/LyLo? Because the scum can coordinate a speed-hammer someone for victory, the lynch threshold is effectively 3 less (or however many scum there are). Yes, the hard lynch requirement makes this much less risky. However on MTGS we don't have such a concept and we hard lynch (i.e. immediately end the day with a lynch) at the soft lynch threshold (>50%), which means you only need one townie to vote another townie to throw the game. Requiring more votes to hard lynch makes voting significantly less risky, but doesn't completely remove the problem - and I prefer to be safe rather than sorry.

As for why we should mass claim, let's face it: we're up against the wall here. If we lynch, we absolutely have to lynch scum or it's game over. The mass claim lets us narrow down the PoE if there's any Town power left, and any results said power might have are also beneficial. As a bonus, with the whole setup revealed, we can analyse it and deduce if a SK makes sense, allowing us to clear or condemn Fonti.

It's do or die, and I believe we ought to put all of our cards on the table. There's no point thinking long term here about not getting shot tonight, right now this lynch is all that matters.

Hard lynch is 7. I think thats pretty unlikely.

So where am I right now?

    Not lynching:
Fonti. I think we can agree that Fonti is not Mafia, because two bonus kills for the Mafia is grossly overpowered. I do not believe that Fonti is a SK for three reasons:
    1. As it stands, the setup doesn't make sense with Fonti as SK. With only masons and a tracker, the town would be woefully ill equipped to fight Mafia (with at least a roleblocker) AND a serial killer
    2. Eidolonic has a well document hatred of Serial Killer as a role
    3. Fonti has shown zero drive to actually win this game since Tom died. This is much more in line with Town who feels the game is pretty much already lost, than with a Serial Killer who still has everything to play for.

By a process of elimination, Fonti must therefore be town. If the mass claim reveals more roles that make a serial killer plausible (and I know what I'm looking for), then I'll reconsider. But right now, Fonti is not on the table as a lynch.

Quiddity - It's difficult to explain, but I like basically everything he says. I enjoy reading his posts. He comes across as thoughtful and with no alternative agenda. I felt like his push on dLGN came from a good place. This read hasn't really changed from when I first replaced in, and I haven't seen anything that indicates that it should.

Cobalt - I still think his "Yay I'm vanilla Town" opener was strongly indicative of him being town. He's also come across as very open and genuine, displaying real frustration at poorly assembled reads.

I don't think any of these three being on a "will not lynch" today list is particularly ground breaking.
    ***

This leaves 4 names in my PoE: Miner, MathBlade, dLGN, and his fluffiness.

Miner I am very reluctant to lynch because I really think his interactions with Jan point to them being unaligned (as mentioned in #2664). He's still in the PoE because I did have an independent scum read on him before, and Typh did say this might not be outside Miner's scumrange.

dLGN: He's dropped back down here because his #2669 read a lot like "Please don't draw attention to my buddy Fluffy and also please do not remove potential mislynch Miner from the pool of suspects". I obviously wouldn't lynch dLGN before Fluffy (and scum dLGN would almost certainly clear Miner).

MathBlade: I've been over this before: MathBlade has been looking at the world in pure black and white, producing weird and wonderful scum teams, and just generally not thinking like any rational townie should. However, I owe her a reread because apparently this is just how she plays.

Fluffy: this. In addition, Fluffy has just gone and brazenly OMGUS'd me, magically jumping me up to their top scum read.

    ****

I'm not really in a very happy place. The town reads that I have are not concrete, and I have a lot of doubt even in my PoE pool. Right now, I'm going to reread MathBlade. Then probably dLGN. Might also try some Vote Count Analysis because why not?

I always scumread your slot, so I don't see anything magical, except for the fact that you think you can mislynch me.

You can call CF's behaviour stupid if you want because it was, but it wasn't scummy. Not understanding what's going on isn't playing to any win condition.

Doesn't change the fact that you're making up a case on me because you think you can make me your final mislynch

I can't get over how disingenuous this post is.

I say that you're making stuff up because you claim that I didn't scumread you till yesterday when I've been scumreading your slot the whole game.

Your response is that your slot wasn't scummy.

Saying my reads were wrong is different from saying I never had them.

Why are we lynching anyone here?

    No lynch

It is MyLO without a Town firm.

In that case we should wait and see who scum kill. Narrows things down a lot.

Math, answer me one question: do you believe fonti is town, or do you think she's SK?

    O RLY?

Posts that could be taken as scumreading CF:
#1411 (But question marks aren't a scum read).
#1772 - CF is marked in Orange (not red) indicating a light scum read. No explanation is given.

That's not "scumreading your slot the whole game", that's "I put down an unexplained hedge once". You had AT BEST a weak and unsubstantiated scum read. Then I made a case on you and oh look! I'm scum!

While it's a good idea, it relies on Fonti not shooting. fontisian: is this something we can trust you to do?

Yeah, your slot was a light scumread cause it had no content.

Notice how your slot went from orange to red once there were actual posts to judge you on.
