As fonti said, why do I kill Jan N1? Or N2/3, why not take out Miner instead? He's equally townread and wants me dead. Score!

I have also yet to see a narrative on why I voted Von and then left the thread.

Well yes but when I say, "this is a decent point," I mean I think it's a decent point. And I'm always right.

 

Off the top of my head, I'd say 'I don't know', but as I began to think about it I suppose she could have been on the right track about tom. I don't remember if she said to look at Waco as well if HF flipped town. Otherwise her dying lastNight is as baffling as Lyric dying N2 in lieu of her then, as I would have thought she would be left alive to at least keep up doubts.

I'm going to say this; my meta is outdated. I can't read most of the players in this game like I thought I could, and that has shaken my confidence. I'm back to looking at everyone as a suspect, and this is why I'm never going to play a no-flip game again.

I'm somewhat reassured by fontisian dying, because several people here would realistically need to keep her in the paranoia PoE to have a hope of winning.

 

I thought about Rubicon on and off last night. There's smoke, going back to Jan's #250 and Fonti's #285.

But my question about Rubicon/Vaimes comes from the final hours of D2, where on multiple occasions Rubicon tries to pull votes (me especially) onto Von (#1042, #1061, & #1176) rather than taking what would have been a fairly easy chance to hammer me and save Von.

Anyone else have a thought on this? Because the way I read it, With myself being town along with Town Miner & Zenzao, clearing Rubicon gets us down to a PoE of 3

Despite the late paranoia talk yesterday, I would have been stunned if Fontisian hadn't been the NK

Maybe my view of it's off-kilter, but from where I was sitting, the NK had to come from the two people who were never getting lynched, Fonti, and Miner.

Yes Fontisian had the paranoia factor, but Fontisian of the two was using the town status to drive the lynches. Given the way we've been all over the place lately, depending on who you ask, the last scum is probably any one of 5 (tom, dLGN, Q, rubi, & I). I just don't see how the paranoia of Fonti living 1 more day would have increased the chance of her getting lynched to be higher than the chance of her catching the last scum. If Fonti was in the final 3 that'd be one thing, but final 7 is still meh.

I think I'll reread quid. He's right that kills don't make any kind of sense for him. And I don't think killing your defenders so you can make that argument is, you know, an actual thing.

From my point of view, scum-Miner and scum-Zenzao would both need fonti alive until LyLo - and vice versa for her keeping them around. Multiple "why are they still alive?" players is the only way they win.

So this kill makes several people look better.

Like... I'm not self-centered enough to think scum are shooting these people just to make my life harder, but that's certainly been the effect.

 

Notice how Waco just expanded his list of scummy people. It was conveniently four yesterday, now it's five. Less confident on fitting one in.

And Zenzao, I'll tell you why font dies. Because scum!Waco is staring down the barrel of the necessary mislynches and unable to fit them in. And I don't die with fonti around, but without you have Miner, Tom, maybe even Rubicon who will definitely vote me. And apparently you.


I've yet to hear that case, Zenzao. For that matter, I'don't remember any viewpoints of you on me.

Are you asking for me to bring a 'this is why Quid is scum' case as I did with owner, Waco, Fonti, and Rubicon? Because it ain't happening at this time of the morning, if I bother to put the effort in at all.

You've given a general vibe of scumminess throughout the game but aside from pairing you up with owner D1, I've had more compelling arguments in other players in subsequent Days.

I voted you here because I don't like much of anything you posted in the final hours of yesterDay now that HF was mislynched and Fonti died in the night, and I was following up my proposal at DayEnd to CFD-vote you.

I've left my vote on you until I make up my mind on Waco toDay.
