I'm from Germany and no bonus scene here either :(

Read somewhere that the bonus scene is supposed to come before the movie starts and it has something to do with Deadpool but that wasn't there too.

the bonus scene was Deadpool walking along in civi clothes and sees a guy being mugged. He runs off to a phone booth to change into his Deadpool uniform. In the meantime the guy gets beat and shot while his hero is struggling into his clothes. DP arrives on the scene far too late; the guy is already dead, so DP swipes his ice cream and lays down on him for a nice rest while asking the 4th wall why there was an actual phone booth on the street corner when they were all taken out back in the 90's.

The scene was tacked on directly before the production logos at the start of the movie.

I'm not reading the spoiler because I'll find it myself, fucking horseshit that it was cut from Australia release, and seemingly Germany too.

I've read that it was US only - it certainly wasn't anywhere to be seen at the screening I saw yesterday. As irritating as that is though...I think tonally it would have been really weird going from Deadpool to Logan.

Yeah, it's no secret that the Academy—an organization mostly made up entirely of Hollywood veterans—absolutely loves movies that are all about Hollywood culture, foibles, and the struggles of being an actor/moviemaker. Since the only way to get into the Academy is to win an Oscar or be sponsored by an existing member, that's not likely to change anytime soon.

Granted, that's also one of the reasons the Oscars have been fading from public prominence as they become more and more about Oscar-bait and Hollywood circle-jerking.

Just got back from Kong: Skull Island. Went in not expecting much, having heard the script was weak and the plot was thinner than the characterisation, but figured I'd probably be entertained, and holy shit was I right - it's the most stupidly awesome film I've seen since Pacific Rim. Yes, the script has its bad moments, although in fairness it does have some great moments too, and yes, the plot is definitely threadbare, but I had way too much fun to care about that.

Looks intriguing. Big fan of this action movie kick Theron seems to be on.

So the final Trailer for Beauty and the beast is out and I gotta say I think it looks promising. The Cinderella remake was pretty insipid but this one looks like they are going to at least try and explore an old story through a different lens. Plus they've kept the songs.

    Either way it's a well-shot trailer

I'd say it gives too much away but it's freaking Beauty and the Beast, hardly anyone's going to be seeing this without having seen the original.

This looks like one highly entertaining movie, with a great cast, and the most ridiculously crap name I've seen in a while. It's written by Edgar Wright too, so I'm down.

Looks good, but I'm looking forward to the eventual third installment: Baby Driver: Tokyo Drift.

So I managed both Logan and Kong this week. I felt that the former would have worked better as a miniseries.
The relationship between Laura and Logan never quite evolved or to be more precise didn't get the chance to evolve into the father-daughter bond that I personally would have loved to see.

Then again maybe that was the point of the movie.

Kong was so much fun. Way more than Godzilla where the title character just didn't get enough screen time. It was well worth the price of admission. That being said, considering this is the setup for King-kong vs Godzilla,

I really don't see how Kong can go toe to toe with Godzilla. That dude shrugged off a nuke like it was a firecracker, Kong on the other hand almost got pwned by a rag-tag group.

    Don't let me down, Netflix.

Hell, I don't even have high expectations. I didn't enjoy Death Note a whole lot past the first half. Still, it was a fun story that I enjoyed when I was younger, so I'd like it to do well.

This movie needs to succeed. Because if it does, then it will pave the way for future adaptations of anime. Same with Ghost in the Shell.
