WOOT!! We have 800 peeps now! Yay! That didn't take very long to go from 700 to 800 though, so we might be overrun by people soon...

Maybe we should put a cap on? Maybe a thousand? I don't know. But then we can also remove people who haven't logged in for a month. That would keep us at around 1000 relatively active posters. I think that's what we should do. Keeps us vfrom getting overrun, and makes sure that the people who are registered are actually somewhat involved.

 

Yeh but what If someone goes on holiday? I know for a fact that in the summer I will be going on holiday for a month.

Why don't you do that for everyone under 50 posts or something?

 

No cap, and we'll not remove people. I know several posters with 0 counts, or low low counts that speak only through PM.

What will happen however, is I'll start getting rid of the annoying folks that are pretty much worthless to have around. We'll be getting a little stricter as we grow, we're too large to allow free reign anymore.

 

Nah, reread it Dark, no one's going to be removed for not posting, as I've sent out emails before to some of the folks and gotten back responses that they do indeed lurk.

Then what are we doing? They can look without being a member. Regarding breaks, we make it 4 months without logging in.

Unless, you're going to the Jungle or something ANYONE can find a computer over the course of 4 months.

 

Ah I understand what you mean now. It's not worth the time spent deleting them though, it's causing no harm to have them sitting idle. I'd much rather focus on numbnut 1 who's active and posts "ph34r m1dknight for m1knight is teh shiz" then some kid who's forgotten about his account.
