I *really* don't want to give away more than I already have.

Im so confused by this story. I think saying that you need an up-to-date knowledge of Batman should be a requisite, because I have no idea why Bruce is doing any of the things he is in this story.

Well, you haven't given anything yet, so you need to start somewhere. You're not giving us much reason to read it beyond 'trust me it's good'. What separates this from anything else? What makes it good?

It's written well technically, but the character feels nothing like Batman or Bruce Wayne. There are ways to write both of those characters well emotionally, but it's not the one I'm seeing here.

3/5, because someone might like it, just not me.

I've read a lot of threads talking about how this is a super emotional piece, I didn't really get that from it. Then again the reviews were posted on Tumblr blogs.

I guess if you're wanting some angst and that's your thing, (looking at you @T3t ) then you might like this. But other wise, I'm going to give this a 2/5.

Decent technical writing, nothing that I saw that was glaring, but ultimately not what I wanted to read. Character pieces of Bruce Wayne are hard to pull off because of his personal nature, dark, broody, mysterious -- It just didn't serve here.
