Crossovers suck in general and Ive never been a firefly fan. But Nonjon is a good author, and im sure he deserved it.

I just randomly voted after selecting Dying EMbers though, which is the only one I read.

 

Well this is one category I've agreed with.

So congrats nonjon.

 

I just notified Ishtar of winning second place.

 

I think considering the sheer size, complexity, fact that mine's finished and number of DLP members that I've pointed in this site's direction, I had a bit of a leg up on the competition. But I'm still thankful for those of you who voted for me (and hopeful that Ishtar may finish her fic). Considering her difficulties finishing other fics, I've been waiting to see if it looks like it might reach a conclusion before giving it a read.

Congrats to the others and yay me.

 

I love how the third place entry was never actually nominated in the official thread (*just checked*).

Congratulations to nonjon for winning, and I'll add my voice to those wondering if Ishtar will ever actually continue Family Values.

 

Nonjon did deserve to win this award.

I like crossovers, if they are well written yet most of the time they fail because they try and combine two whole world, they tend to work best when one character is taken from series and combines with another.

Nonjon managed to work it out so that more than one character from the Potter verse was matched with Firefly properly, admittedly most of them were OC's and the Firefly crew weren't needed as parts of the story once they headed to the earth-that-was, but it still worked and was a good crossover.

 

I've followed nonjon's "Browncoat, Green Eyes" from the very first chapter and cried when it ended, my all time favorite crossover. Good for you nonjon.

P.S. I didn't really cry...

 

Browncoat's not just my fave Crossover, but my fave fic of all time. Congrats nonjon.
