I've been here for two and a half years, and I still feel like that new guy who was invited to his girlfriend's family reunion and knows nothing and nobody.

In that time, I've started writing again, got married, got a new job, bought a house, gone to funerals and weddings, discovered Twitter, bought my first smartphone, started to travel and entered my thirties.

<sniff> Feels like I've grown up here. And I turned out JUST FINE.

Like usual, I'm arriving a little late to this particular party (but not late enough not to post!)

Several of those failed due to fail material, the other half failed for trying to be a pretentious DLP minus the key to DLP (the particularly lovable, crazy membership...or something like that).


To be fair, I haven't checked these forums in ages. The extent of my DLP connection now stems from a semi-annual check in on IRC, and a fairly low-key commitment to CN (developed through DLP). I think that my latest visit to IRC kicked some nostalgic feelings up... Having been around a lot during my impressionable youth contributed to who I am today!

...And based on the drunk ass bitches, fools, and others considered my peers that I deal with on a regular basis, I appreciate it greatly.

I first found this site 2007 and rediscovered it in the beginning of 2010 .Probably the only Forum I visit regularly even though I don't post much, it's been a nice stay and always fun.

On to the next 7 years.
