If this is not a gitch, then DAMN. Looks like 1000 is our next mark.

Sounds like a glitch to me...mind you, we have over 2000 users so it technically is possible.

Out of interest, does this include non-registered users?

Yeah, all the guests count. For the 114 users, I remember it was like 60 some guests, 50 some actual members. Anyways, there has to be something wrong. That many guests and members at the same time, that's odd.

 

I was on at 3am and it had like 5 members and about 12 guests. I remeber looking cause me and another member were having an arguement and I was looking to see if he was still online to reply.

 

Also, if there were that many members and guests, we would have a bunch of new posts. Only a few topics were updated.

 

Wishful thinking, no way in hell it would be that many people online. Rostam is right, there should have been a flod of new posts.

Heh, I looked but aperantly I just missed it. Was about 50 ro so I think before I logged off.

 

I assume this has to do with the way the time system is skewed. I'm reading a reply from 05:40, 5 hours in the future. As such, my post will be ordered in front of it...

But, I guess if I changed my time zone I might get to post further in the future than him ... anyway, I hope it will clear up soon...

 

Can't say I've played either, but maybe I'll go out and rent them seeing how you two think so highly of them.

 

The "579 users" was a glitch after all -- but 122 is still better than the previous record (114)!

Or maybe a lot of people came into vote. Was anyone around then? A lot in IRC maybe?

 

I was around and looked at the first pages of the 'Who's Online' list. There were, dunno, about 30+ members, and the rest guests and bots.

The problem might be a bot which uses several ip while browsing the site, like the Web-Archive and the large search engines.
