Gameplay's interesting, I prefer the Semi-Auto weapons and attacking from range. Although I went Warlock which seems more suited for Close Quarters?

 

No. Warlock is not too suited for close range. Well, the classes aren't too different in that regard (you can go to any range with any class) but overall Titans and even Hunters to a degree have an easier time at close range.

 

Finding Destiny to be really divisive. I can appreciate a lot of the good points it has but something rubs me the wrong way about it, I find it dull.

 

Levels 1-20 are tutorials, mind you.

I find Rep's second point to be the biggest truth. Play the game with friends, if I had any on PSN (or who fucking played video games...) I'd probably still be playing now.

 

Hey if anyone wants to play my psn's genocide_9218, ps4 of course. I know the game mechanics for just about every boss fight HoW not included because I've been working crazy hours for the last month or so. After about a hundred raids I got into pvp quite a bit.
So any newer players that need a hand or experienced players want to go for a flawless raider achievement or are trying to visit the lighthouse I'm totally down. Destiny is my shit and I haven't played in a month

 

So for all of us who still play this, has anyone bothered starting a Clan for the community? While the LFG sites are good and all, it's getting a bit more difficult to find a more consistent group to run with.

Also, am I the only one running it on the One here...?

Update: more specifically, they're completely tossing all of Dinklage's dialogue and North is going to re-record it all without any knowledge of the original work to avoid outside influence.

They're also scrapping the Light leveling mechanic and going to a more traditional model where the cap is 40, you get xp from doing quests and killing monsters and you get more powerful at cap by getting better and better gear. Basically like most mmorpgs.

Now, some people might argue that those are stuff that should already be in the game, and that the 40 euro/$ pricetag that comes with TTK is too much. Those people are right. That doesn't make my dick any less hard.

Hawkmoon will be one of the exotics you can have at max damage in year 2. However you won't be able to just rank it up to the new damage cap. You will have to purchase a new Hawkmoon from the exotic kiosk that will be in the tower.

Think your old wep is getting a makeover, yes. Plus a bunch of over stuff you gotta pay.

More importantly, however, the upgraded Suros Regime is the sexiest thing I have ever laid eyes on.

 

the new currency is legendary marks, which take the place of vanguard and crucible marks. As long as you had a Hawkmoon before Taken King comes out you will be able to buy one day one of the new DLC

 

Hawkmoon was def my fav gun. I had Suros too, what's changed about it? Last time I used it/ played it was godly with zero recoil.

They did. The video said that ARs are getting buffed. Considering that the nerfs simply took them from overpowered to strong, a buff will bring them back up, even if they're not outright unbalanced this time.

 

Been playing through 'expansions' in prep for TK. Still love my hawkmoon, dismantled some other exotics to bring it and suros to 365.

This sidearm thing is new. Love it for raping fallen.

Is there anything else I should be doing to prepare? Will mats carry over? Coins?
