It's short, abandoned, and half of it is composed of Arya and Gendry bickering. And yet, for the glimpse of Braavos it gives, for the life of Cata di Canale that it outlines, I love it. While I wish that book Arya would find a life similar to what this Arya does, I know that the tragic story arc that is undoubtedly meant for the best Stark is probably just beginning.

This is a what-if sort of fic, and rather beautiful for it. The short outlines it gives of Braavos are masterfully done, and the city truly seems alive even with the sparse word count. It doesn't really get anywhere, but it makes you wish that somebody would write more of this sort of stuff.

 

Gendry comes off as extremely rape-y in this fic. Love the Braavos shit, though. 3/5.

This fic is good, shame it was abandoned. Also, I agree - Gendry comes off as a creepy, obsessive, stalker-kind-of-guy and a real douche.

But still, this fic is good, so 4/5,
