    Rating: T
    Genre: Drama/Adventure

Excellent story; very well written with great characterization of Lelouch, as well as Villetta, Kewell and Jeremiah. What has been posted so far is only considered to be the 'prologue' with 50k words. Has great potential to become a true epic if it isn't abandoned beforehand.

I like it. It's one of the only longer Code Geass stories that are updated semi-regularly and have a well-developed plot. The events presented are reasonable and the world is shaping up quite well. The emotional side of events is decently done. One facet that I really like is how the author puts up an excerpt from a fictional letter, news source, book or some other thing that allows us to get a glimpse into the Geass world beyond what is directly narrated by the author.

5/5 so far. I'm only a few chapters in but it is beautifully well done and the author just great characterization.

    Edit:
Off topic but does anyone else hate Suzuki in Code Geass the show? I thought he should of died, the traitor.

Excellently done fanfic, I especially liked how author managed to do "Britannian" feel to this story.

Though the story is interesting, the grammar somewhat feels lackluster. There were few instances that had me cringing, but that's not to say it distracted me from the story. Finally, the story is really slow paced-on average of one chapter per month if we are lucky. On its own it would not be a negative, but combined with the lack of direction forces the reader to ask where the author is leading with all of this or the purpose behind the writing of the piece. 3/5 so far.

I thought the story was nicely detailed at times, making it an engaging read. The author mentioned that the the earlier chapters were to set the scene, and he is now shifting the focus to Area 11 now that the story timeline is closing to the Code Geass timeline.
I thought 1 chapter per month average isn't too bad. =)
Although the Geass archive at ff.net doesn't have many stories of quality length, mostly focusing on one-shots and LxC.C..
    5/5 for me as well.

Scott: I thought Season 1 plot was not bad, but Season 2 was a total disaster in plot, never mind the individual characters =)

I followed this for a short while. The quantity of run-on sentences at the beginning were irritating and the writing style is too stark, especially in the Tom Clancy-esque section, but still very readable.

The campaign was over the top in how Lelouch won nearly every battle, suffered few losses while butchering his enemies, how his soldiers thought he was the greatest thing ever and were devoted to the point of committing seppuku on his whim, etc.

I did like the intrigue that began when Lelouch's plane was sabotaged, and the author makes a strong effort at realism, down to the titles of the books at the beginning of the chapters.

    4/5.

Definitely the best code geass fanfic out right now. The plot, and the characterization of Lelouch is great. The only thing bad about it, is the lack of C.C of course, but its only the beginning.

    5/5 for now.

The new chapter introduces Lloyd, assistant, and Suzaku.
The chapter holds no surprises but it was nice to see the story continue.

Those are some excellences execution of character introductions by the author. You can imagine it happening in canon not a hair out of place. Hopefully he wont be waiting for another half a year before releasing another chapter,

New update. This chapter had a lot of funny moments.

I don't know how I feel about the introduction of the new character Captain Claudio Darlton. Was this guy even in the anime?

Still the best CG fic. 5/5

    Yes he was.

He was one of four adopted kids from Darlton; Cornelia's liutenant. Together they were known as the Glaston Knights. Of course; they get killed off one by one, and I think by the end of the series only on of them was still alive.

EDIT: And the new update-wise, I didn't find too interesting. Seemed more like filler to me.

The last couple of chapters have felt like mostly filler to be honest. I guess that's what happens when a story undergoes such a large genre-shift as this one.

    ^Very high quality filler though.

Kallen shower scene is pretty much obligatory in every CG fic, although i would think Lelouch wouldn't have enough familiarity with Kallen yet to dismiss an outright assassination attempt.

    Still eagerly waiting for CC.

    Update!!!

Lelouch being a smart bastard is hilarious. I still can't wait for C.C. though.

The intro was particularly interesting, even more so then usual.

I'm kinda concerned with the next chapter given that Zero was the hint he dropped.

At this point I don't know how it'll turn out if he splits the story like that, it's proved to be the downfall of some Geass fics I read in the past.

Update, and quite an interesting one at that.

I got to give it to the author, never saw Zero entering the picture in that way but it works; even if most of the chapter felt a bit tailored to bring Zero to life. A minor point though.

Overall, I really like where this is all heading and can't wait for C.C, that's when I'm guessing the plot can really start progressing with Lelouch going after his mother's killers.

Yeah, the majority of the Code Geass world is explained throughout the story, and the characters introduced in ways that you can 'get to know them', so to speak.

Still, get your hands on the anime and burn it into your mind, that shit is awesome.
