From a chapter 1173 of Hajime no Ippo. I cut out some panels, leaving only the core concept.
Link because it's huge.
A map of the world, with the countries illustrated by the most popular work of literature in that country, that was written in that country.
My first reaction was "oh cool someone with artistic skills that aren't that much better than mine."
Then it turned into an actual picture.
Response: Nope. No no. NOPE.
Do yourself a favour; don't visit Australia.
But those things are like 4 times bigger than modern alligators/crocodiles/murdermachines.
I think you misjudge just how terrifying salties are.
But yeah, if I had to pick one animal I want to avoid, it's that one. Fuck ambush predators.
This is to scale. It's a replica of a croc shot by a farmer's wife near a place called Normanton in Queensland back in the 50's.
Right. Queensland, Florida, and any other place with anything remotely approaching that is officially on my 'No Travel Zones' list.
Thanks for the heads up.
Combat Photographer Captured Her Final Moments In This Stunning Picture
Link to story and pictures. Not cool, but certainly powerful, I guess.
Video source for the previous post. Highly recommend watching it.
I saw this video a couple weeks ago, showed it to my wife, then showed it to my kids.
It spoke to my kids in a way I hadn't been able to, and I saw observable differences in their performance on standardized testing questions related to 5.9C (predict the effects of changes in ecosystems caused by living organisms, including humans, such as the overpopulation of grazers or the building of highways).
Really a great watch.
