Browsing YouTube, there are some pretty decent covers of various songs out there. Some of them are better than the originals.

Umbrella - Acoustic - Marie Digby

Umbrella - Rocky - Vanilla Sky (Amusing video too).

Umbrella - Piano Instrumental - David Sides (Pretty Impressive Piano playing).

Apologize - Piano Instrumental - David Sides (This one's for Bio).

Linkin Park - Crawling - Piano Instrumental
(Beginning is dull, but gets full of win around 1.10)

Muse - Hysteria - Piano Instrumental

Muse - Time is Running Out - String Quartet Instrumental

If you've got any more post them up, with a description (not just a link, no-one ever clicks on random links).

Black Betty by Spiderbait - Cover of Ram Jam Not as good as the original, but still full of win.
Wish you were here by Aslan - Pink Floyd cover Again not as good as the original, but Christy Dignam has a great fucking voice.
All along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix - Bob Dylan cover A million fucking times better than original, even Bob said so.
You shook me by Led Zeppelin - Muddy waters cover Also superior to original.
The Stumble by Gary Moore - Peter Green cover More Rock and less bluesy. I prefer Gary Moore's version, but a lot of people don't.

    EDIT Got some more.

Whiskey in the Jar by Thin Lizzy - Cover of the Dubliners Definitely better than the original. Metallica's is pretty good as well.

Good shit, Taure. I dig the piano covers; that's the kind of stuff I would've tried to get away with playing at Nordstrom if they still hired piano players :p The girl covering "Umbrella" on guitar was a decent guitarist and singer, but she had trouble saying umbrella...

Good links Taure, the guy that does the Linkin Park piano covers does some good shit.

Greatest cover I've ever heard is Sonata Arctica's one of Die With Your Boots On (by Iron Maiden). They do it a hundred times better than the original.
