Who else is still participating for this month?

Despite not writing for the past two weeks, I still have 11k words complete of a projected 40k. No way I'm finishing, but it'd be nice to hit the halfway point by the first of the year.

 

I have a story started, but I haven't been working on it too hard. Around 5k words done on it, so won't get close to finishing. I've been procrastinating enough with editing last months entry.

 

I don't know if I already mentioned it, but I'm not competing in this month's contest anymore. My original idea wasn't very good, and with 3 other stories in addition to exams I simply haven't had time to work on another story. I do have another idea worth writing about, but it's extremely long and I'm not sure I could the beginning justice in the space of a month.

I'm throwing in my hat for judging this round.

 

I'll judge for this round, but certainly not writing anything. I've got RC to finish up, and the next 'Harry/Su Li' fic to finish, and frankly, I learned from July it's probably not a good idea to toss in an entry from an ongoing title into one of these contests.

So yeah, I'll judge, if possible.

 

Still going to enter, just not sure on what. I've got a couple of HP/XO's in the work, but I've seriously stalled.

 

I'm still entering. Well, I will be if I can tear myself away from Skyrim long enough to actually do some writing. I can probably finish it, if so; it's a humour crossover oneshot.

 

Quite honestly, this sounds fucking amazing and I can't wait to read it if you decide to write it.

On another note I may attempt to try my hand at this, but if I decide not to I would be willing to put my name in as a judge.

^This would definitely be an issue though.

 

Oh god, I got a job and am starting school at the wrong time, anyways I plan on a romance, I've a bit of Harry/Cho and some James/Rosmerta written and I can't decide which to put my effort into. I've stopped all editing on my other story as well so I can come back fresh in January and do 500 club.

 

I wasn't originally planning on entering. However, I have a DA:O crossover bunny that won't lie down and die, and what I think is a semi-interesting HP/DF idea.

I may or may not have enough written to submit one.

 

What's a good word count to shoot for as far as this story goes? Low-end numbers.

 

Generally? Around the 8k word count for a multi-chapter story, at least, though really anything over 3-5k I would consider a base minimum depending on what you plan to do with it.

 

Count me in for judge. This ought to be interesting.

 

I'll throw my hat into the judge's ring. Finished my exams but don't have enough time to write anything that would be worth entering. Might try for January, if we continue the monthly/bimonthly challenges.
