    Do they even exist?

I liked Doctor Who as a kid but can't sit through most of it now days because it seems like every problem is solved by the Doctor pulling something out of his ass at the last moment and completely ignoring precedent.

So you basically want Doctor Who fics without the Doctor Who elements?

I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, to be honest. Mind explaining it a bit more?

My good friend Hellinbrand wrote a couple of Doctor Who fics that don't really involve continuity or ass pulls.

The Vault of Days: When the Eleventh Doctor's TARDIS is stolen, he is forced to call on his two previous regenerations to help him recover it from the besieged world of Castor IV. But is everything what it seems?

The Most Exclusive Club in Time and Space: Amy Pond finds a mysterious room in the TARDIS, occupied by ten very strange men.
