Spoilers to the end of R2.

This is an odd one. It has some soft humor, but its mostly about the mood and feelings Lelouch has as the Zero Requiem draws closer and his plan comes to fruition, the quiet desperation terror he feels while waiting for what we know will come.

At times funny, but always sad, it's the sort of thing that you would expect to devolve into Narm and Bathos, but it worked well for me.

It's a nice, if slightly depressing, oneshot and I enjoyed it. 5/5

Exactly as Aekiel said. A little weird, a little melancholy, and a good look at the mindset of a man waiting to die.

This was.. a fantastic little one shot. Its written in a style that just had me very emotionally involved. I could feel Lelouch's desperation slowly building throughout, right up until his release at the end. 5/5.
