    So having played and quit both Eq2 and WoW, I find myself craving to get back into a mmorpg but can't decide which one to get. Some imput would help me making this choice.

    lineage was ruined by farmers.



    I'd say WoW, when I played EQ2 i hated it. The fighting sucked and felt uninvolved, the characters felt jerky, and the people sucked more nuts then a female version of Foamy.

    I don't think Guildwars is technically and MMORPG it strikes me as more a multiplayer only diablo 2. Mind you I have only seen my brother play out of the corner of my eye so.

    My brother bought Guild Wars and played it for wxactly an hour before taking it out and declaiming that it was a piece of shit. I wouldn't know, as I've never played an MMORPG or anything similar in my life. I'm a single player person.

    I used to be single player only, but in Asheron's Call I developed a joy for leading people :twisted:

    The in WoW, as an undead rogue, I loved ganking Alliance whenever I could just to keep myself entertained

    there was a kid in my school who had to go to rehab because he spent so much time on wow. He would like skip school and never leave his comp and wouldnt sleep to play WoW and his parents had to get him rehab because he was crazy with WoW

    ppl like that have much deeper issues then addiction to some game. WoW is insane fun when you get on a good run with it, but it's not so good that I'd do that.

    Thats almost as pathetic as those ppl who die frim dehydration or exhaustion while playing EQ.
