So, the Fall 2017 anime season is just beyond the horizon, and it's promising to be a bit of mixed bag. A lot of shows to look forward too, however - in my opinion, of course. The shows airing this season can be found here. The most popular shows on MAL going into the season are: 1. Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara: The third season of Shokugeki no Souma. For those of us who haven't been reading the manga, it's nice to finally see the continuation of the story. For those who have been reading the manga, I'm sure it will still be an enjoyable watch for you too. 2. Kekkai Sensen & Beyond: The second season of Kekkai Sensen, one of the best shows of Spring 2015 season IMO. They've changed up the director, and the script writer - and while that does not bode well, I'm holding out hope that it will be good. For those looking for an urban fantasy that has a similar vibe to Cowboy Bebop, I'd recommend checking out the first season. 3. Black Clover: An adaption of what some have described as a fairly straightforward shounen manga. I haven't read it myself however, and it may very well be worth watching. 4. Himouto! Umaru-chan R: The second season of Himouto. It also has a few alternative titles, which translate roughly (keep in mind I don't understand Japanese, and had to use google translate) to "Why Bother?" and "God is dead, and we are living in his corpse." It promises to be a 10/10 masterpiece. 5. Dies Irae: An adaption of a visual novel. I didn't bother to read the synopsis, but a lot of the promotional material looks pretty cool. Also worthy of note is Inuyashiki, which is an adaption of a manga by the same guy who did Gantz. I remember reading the first chapter and thinking it was pretty rad. Along with that, 3-gatsu no Lion is getting a second season. I put the first season on hold, but it was really good. Along with all of this, the first part of Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel is coming out. So yeah, lots of things to be excited about. What are you guys planning on watching?
