Joy and happiness to Harry/Fleur passionates that wandered into this thread. The pompous introductory line aside, I have decided to create this thing after a PM discussion about Harry/Fleur. As you might, or might not now, I am a Harry/Fleur fan and although I reiterated my opinion on this pairing in several threads, I will do so again for your benefit. In my opinion, Fleur is the suited girl for Harry for several reasons: It disrupts the evil Weasley plan to marry every fascinating character into their incestuous little clan. Fleur can provide Harry with a prestige and glamor that other witches cannot. Fleur is the only canon proven babe (not my words, but I can't remember who said it). Fleur fills in the role of a younger Narcissa in making Harry more aristocratic and caring about the finer things in life. Now I could add to those reasons but that would stifle your future points. The intention I have is to create a FFN C2 of Harry/Fleur pairings that are decently written, novel-length stories. I want to focus more on exclusive Harry/Fleur pairings and not Harry/Fleur/Narcissa/Cho/Tonks/Random Witch ones. Although Harry/Harem had its charm when it appeared, nowadays it seems to turn into an orgy with Harry chaining up women and making them serve his lustful desires. While that may be well done in some context, I am looking for genuine Harry/Fleur pairings. To do my part in the war to bring Harry/Fleur in the spotlight, my story will have a Harry/Fleur pairing, although that is far in the future and will only come around in Book 3. As a start-off, I list here, with links the stories of Harry/Fleur that I know of: The Secret Diary of Fleur Delacour aged 16 and 3/4 by Fledge The story that got me into liking Harry/Fleur, it was a masterpiece at the time, standards have gone up though. Still worth checking out. Including a sequel that can be found through the link of the Author's Profile (see above). Harry Potter and Broken Wands by Vertex The only other good, over 100,000 words story of Harry/Fleur. Now, anybody can throw out Harry/Fleur stories like I did. That is very much encouraged but I want us to discuss Harry/Fleur more in-depth. How can it happen, what are the obstacles to it, how can it be integrated into a story without making the romance the central part etc etc etc? You get the point. Discuss at your leisure.
