Title: Harry Potter and the new powers
    Author: ChemicalGenocide
    Rating: M
    DLP Category: Serious Buisness
    Pairing: H/Fleur
    Status: WIP
Summary: Harry's hit hard times, betrayal is rife among the ranks. How does a mythical figure fit into his destiny?

A fic with enormous potential. Characterisation is spot on, atmosphere is perfect and I can't find a single cliche. Definitly one to watch, it's in my favorites list. 5/5

Err...no cliches, you say? So there's no abused!Harry, Merlin-appearing-to-Harry, and no lousy letters written to Harry from 'Granger and Weasley' in snarky eleven year old tones about how they hate him? No talk of uber-staff!Harry, and no Sirius-left-a-fund-or-information-at Gringotts plot device? No controlling Dumbledore that pisses Harry off so much that his eyes glow at the mere thought of the crooked-nosed bastard? No Heir-to-Potter-Black-Gryffindor-Slytherin-Huflepuff-Ravenclaw-Davis-Merlin shit? Oh forgive me, all of these cliches are present.

If this has lots of potential, is one to watch, is on your favorites list, and has no cliches...I'm going to have to point you to the Potter Law thread. Go now. Quickly. My alleged brain hurts now...and it's your fault.

Edit: In case I actually need to express my rating: 0/5

Dumbledork? *sigh* I'm pretty sure this is a parody, at least I hope it is! :)

DLP Category: Serious Buisness? Lawlz, indeed.

But the story itself is surprisingly good. I especially enjoyed the Harry/Fleur smut. 5/5 from me as well.

This was, by far, the best bit of fiction I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I'm still hard. 6/5.

Har har, very funny Seratin. You got me this time... Still a pretty dumbass joke though, and doesn't change the fact that the story's a 1/5.

    Ow...

Its as if he tried to cram every single cliche into the fic with the shortest amount of possible backup for it.

I liked all the crying and emo-ness. I'll rate it with a 0/5

I lawled and stopped reading. 1/5 for normal categories, 5/5 in Serious Buisness. But only because it's Harry/Fluer with Tracy!Slave.

You stopped reading? For shame it gets really good after that I promise.

Look I'll even give you a preview.
Some of you aren't getting the point at all. Beneath the rusty exterior there is a nice tale to be told. The tale of boy who has struggled through much hardship and come out of it stronger. The fate of many ancient and noble families rest on this boy, he uses his powers for the good of the world in his struggle with evil and betrayal.

Compelling stuff. Overall it's Serious Buisness.

Blaise and Sesc could appreciate the brilliance. I beseech thee, try it.

Thank god I've made a habit of reading the comments before clicking the fic link.

At least I read the reviews before reading the fic. But not, to my eternal shame, before clicking the link.
