I'm looking for more fics like, Across the Universe.

The style I am looking for is less of the, going back then Harry pretending to be normal Harry. I want a real change like this, but unfortunately that is hard to figure out most of the time. Anything that matches some of them realistic actions.

Considering how much everyone loves joe's Wasteland of Time to high hell here, I did hear of Wastelands of Time.

I do thank you but this isn't really what I am looking for. I want something of the HP world remaining.

 

Could you expand a little more on what you're looking for? Might help me narrow down my list of recs.

 

Well basically any of them time travel fics where the characters don't make you question there logic. I don't understand all of the fiction where Harry comes back or something and doesn't tell anyone. Stupid logic there.

I guess the best bet is look at Across the Universe again. None of the characters have some weird motive, and it would be an interesting read. Far too many of these AU fics just have some weird version of cannon played with cannon Harry that doesn't add up. I would of loved if Accoss the Universe was continued, but it seemed like the author wants to do another Harry in the snake den or whatnot.

I don't like to admit it, but I am being too vague here. It is just a subjective of what you think is a AU that isn't illogical in the end.

 

I feel like I'm playing Marco Polo here. Is this close to what you're looking for?

The beginning is a little shaky, but the story gets progressively better with each chapter.

 

I should of stated better. I am not looking for one story as much as it is many stories in general. I know how to look for a fic unless it is stupid hard to find, but nothing in Harry Potter is. I thank you though.

There's Countdown by Silens Cursor.

Catharsis by nuhuh kicks some serious ass considering it's a post DH next-gen fic.

Backwards Compatible by Ruskbyte is a classic which you should have come across by now if you're looking for time travel stories.

In the Clockface, Weighted and Weary by nuhuh again who kicks so much ass as an author that I'm just waiting for him to get published in real life.

Another you should have on your reading list is Stranger in an Unholy Land by Jono. She's petered on out on the sequel, but the first is still topnotch writing.

Only Enemies by leave this world is awesome too, but it hasn't been updated since March of last year.

Annnnd why not? We'll stick mine in there too. Circular Reasoning Warning: the first three chapters are awful. But I got better. :awesome
