Gold making guide: go infinite in arena.

    There, no further reading necessary.

Yup, but I'm not gonna sustain 7 wins every arena, heh.

Edit: apparently, farm the easy achis, and then go unranked with speed aggro. Meh. When you get enough gold, go arena if you're good, or buy decks if you're bad.

I would save your gold for a week or so until you get a better feel for the game, then start arena. It will go further that way. Teamliquid has a few pretty good starter guides, particularly on how to build cheap decks to start with as well, so that could be helpful.

I think I've watched good videos/stream for 100+ hours, so I think I'm good to go. It's not as good as actually playing the game for yourself, of course, but I think I'll just start arenas straight away. Seems to be the most fun anyways right now.

Oh yea that helps. I am slowly getting more consistent in arena, but I tend to struggle outside of the 3-4 classes I have most experience with. I'll get there eventually hopefully.

I hope Oz means he can only play two classes successfully, lol.

7-3 on a sloooow druid! Not bad.

Fuck you and your avatar Oz. I keep thinking you are Taure.

I was very confused by Clerith's post for a second.

Jesus Christ hut up about the fucking avatar. Every time I play I start by drawing shitty cards I can't use for ages and get waffle-stomped. By bots, by people, doesn't matter. Then I close the game.

80% of your cards should be below or about 5 mana, exactly so this doesnt happen.

And if you don't have turn 2 and 3 plays in your opening hand, you should generally toss all of your cards in the hopes of getting one, even if those cards are otherwise the best cards in your deck.

At first, I really liked mid to late range decks, but early aggro seems to be the king. As long as you control the board, you can deal with the powerful late drops with your minions and some removal spells. Being in control is much more fun than dropping a powerful creature a turn and getting overwhelmed.

On that one, just went 9-2 on my aggro Warlock! First 9 worth a mention, methinks =p. Guess what'll be my plan for arenas in the future, haha. 2 decks, 190 gold and s golden Spellbender.

Also, this game will probably have a fucking huge profit margin. Despite my resolve to try and play it without paying any real money, I ended up throwing ten bucks at it. This is "subtly" incredibly money hogging, since grinding gold manually is such a pain, and a few euros aren't that much, right? >_>

All of them. They've already announced no more wipes before release (and money spent before previous wipes was "refunded" as gold).

Got a Golden Legendary just now. 1600 dust Millhouse Manastorm, true value right there.

I can't believe I'm actually tempted to keep it, but if I dust it, I could finish my structured deck... aside from the legendaries.

I would definitely disenchant that. Millhouse is pretty bad and you can get your pick of the best legendaries for it. Sylvanas is probably the best overall legendary in that she fits in just about any deck, but game-enders like ragnaros or ysera are pretty good bets too

But do play him in a deck until he wins you a game first. He's far too swingy to be good, but that also means that you can get some really silly wins off of him.

Encountered my first bug today with my Counterspell not working in the Arena against a Mind Control, still won the game but it was annoying to say the least. I'd been holding onto my Ravenholdt Assassin for 4 turns waiting for that damn Counterspell because Fuck Priests, ah well.

Beta is beta, still won and trying to break my 4-3 record.

Edit; Nevermind, bug disappeared the next game and then came back and cost me the 3rd game so I went 2-3 and got 40 dust and a pack for my efforts. New Arena reward's are so worth it.
