Looking for any good stories that focus on Thirteen or any Stargate crossovers. Preferably long reads.

Not really... House fics tend forget about the medicine and go on and on about sunken ships from seasons gone by. Without the whole doctor thing, you're not really left with much to crossover with.

 

Eh. Let's be honest here, House is only superficially about the medicine. It's a character piece, through and through. You can easily replace the medicine with damn near anything else (say, being a consulting detective, for a completely random and not at all pointed example) and have more-or-less the same thing.

It's actually a pretty ripe series for crossovers because of that, with a ton of potential for good stories, but as far as I'm aware, nobody's actually done it well, so that's unfortunate.

 

I imagine its hard to write about a character that so thoroughly carried by Hugh Laurie. Writing the literary version of that character without losing charm must be hella difficult.

 

Man, if only someone had already done that...

 

To be fair though, not everyone is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in terms of writing ability.
