    This morning I tried to log into IRC via the in-browser client, only to find it was now set to 'invitation only'. I've waited a few hours to see if this changed, but at present I still can't get into the channel.

    One thing that's occurred to me is that I was banned, but I can't imagine the reason why. I had no trouble posting 12 hours ago and haven't posted anything on IRC since then, so that's probably not it.

    Should I try a different client, maybe?

    EDIT: seems I can get in just fine now. Strange.
