So I thought this was going to complete crap as a show but is anyone besides me genuinely having fun watching this so far? I mean obviously you can't take it seriously as a cop procedural but something about it has just had me laughing start to finish with both episodes so far. I don't know whether it's Murtaugh and Riggs easy chemistry or just the general bugfuck lunacy of it all but I'm actually really interested in seeing more of this.

This show shines brightest when it doesn't give you a spare moment to think about what exactly is transpiring. But when it does, well...

Pretty damn funny though. And the production values are top notch.

I'm loving this first episode so far, but I like Wayans from other shows and the Martins actor is killing it with the balance between frenzy and grief, he just does that so effortlessly.

Hmm, the movie Lethal Weapon has always been a favorite of mine, ever since I was a kid. Does it feel more or less like that?

It feels a lot like the films so far. It's obviously updated and changed a bit (Murtagh is no longer a vet as far as we know, just Riggs), but it doesn't feel out of place. Rigg's actor does the manic-depressive take really well and if they keep fine-tuning his segments to be more like the open of episode 2 then they've really got an award-winner for tv acting. Murtagh is a little flatter than in the movies but Wayans is trying to balance out his history as a "family man employee" actor in stuff like My Wife and Kids with the "too old for this shit but secretly loving it" Murtagh elements but i think he's getting there with every episode.

The supporting cast around them has been decent so far, as well.

I feel they do not have the same chemistry as in the movies. The first episode was a let down.

At least one episode, I'd say. The first one, if you can get it.

I liked it. That scene with the boss looking out the window at the fireworks and just knowing it was them was awesome.

Sort of obvious where the plot is going tho if you've watched the movies.

I was ready to hate it, especially after the trailer, but after two episodes I'm must say it's surprisingly decent. Not nearly as good as the originals, but manages to be one of the better TV show remakes.

I also enjoy watching. The characters are nice, the actors work and the comedy timing works so far. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

You have a good time, no alcohol required.

Figured I'd revive this with the new episodes having somewhat recently started playing again. This has rapidly become one of my favorite shows on TV.

    Last episode
I loved this episode, the guy who played Riggs just knocked it out of the park. From the depression and alcohol fueled bar trip to the no fucks given eating the potato chips under the vending machine to the kinda crushing moment where he admitted that he was starting to forget things about Miranda he was just great. Everyone absolutely killed it and I was reminded again why I love this show.
