I simply do not have the free time atm to make a new sig, so I am holding a contest. Prize being.. er my eternal friendship and praise as a graphical master... yeah thats it. Lol.

Needs to be reasonable sized, I'd appreciate the psd file later on so I could shrink it w/o bothering the original author. Author should inject his/her signature somewhere so it's not uber intrusive, probably a tatoo on his chest would rock.

After a bit of play, I managed this monstrosity. Entertained me for some time, which was the purpose.

A little tall and such, but I liked the effects on it kind of, I suppose.

 

Yeah that's pretty sweet Vashy, but i do need it around 150-175 px heigh so they'll let me use it on HG Beta forums =(

I just managed to rip a tooth in half, so I may actually have time to work on one after all, lol, I'll see if I can make a decent one as well.

Fun part?

Root canal and build up... scheduled 10/31 at 9am... I'll be out of it on painkillers when Hellgate launches.

 

...How did you manage that?

 

I needed a root canal anyway, but we were hoping a pulp cap/medicine injected w/ a cap on top would heal the infection I had at that tooth's root. Didnt. Cut my tongue in a few places from it dragging across a basically razor sharp edge where the silver cap and the tooth met and broke. I'm a habitual teeth grinder/jaw clencher. it's how I get through my day without killing anyone at work.

Son of a bitch. That had to fucking hurt.

I remember a month or two back I went to the dentist because a wisdom tooth was growing in fucky and pushing against the roots of another and giving me major jew headaches. Nigger dentist numbed it with locals and all, but while trying to get it loose and pulled out, it snapped like 3 times.

Numbed or not, that shit HURTS.

 

It damned sure doesn't feel hawt.

 

Need to work on the demon tattoo on his armor, it isn't noticeable enough shrunk down. Tried making the demon face the background, didn't work well.

This simple stuff took me like 3 hours... you see why I needed a hand, lol. I get distracted too easy.

The font is Cabalist Hellgate font. It says THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK. Please someone feel free to do one better on this =)

I put a Templar Cross on his breast plate seeing as the game has to do with the Knights Templar.

Darius, I think this would be a good time to start up a sig shop, use this first spectacular example to springboard your way to success and many internets.

 

Evil the top one looks perfect in regards to size. Could you take off the cross, shrink down the Logo alittle more, and add those same brush effects you've got on the 2nd one to the first one?

I had a malfunction with my computer, because of that I had to reload my brushes and couldn't find the one I used. So, I tried to resize the 2nd one to be more like the first.



I shrunk the logo, tell me if you want it smaller, and removed the cross.

Edit: Truthfully, I think Darius has me beat ^_^'

You have to admit is was a pretty impressive job with just paint.

Nah, an impressive paintjob is what NoV tried to do to me during GW4 and use paint, realistically, to try to spoof nuke threats. Took me a few minutes to figure out how the fuck they did that, considering I was trying to use photoshop and match the right font.

 

Messing around with making sigs I came upon a Hellgate: London render and had a go at making one, not the renders you requested but I figure since it is hellgate, I might as well show it here.
