I posted this in the wrong thread, so this is the repost. Please enjoy.

    Title
: My Body Is A Cage
    Fandoms: Watchmen (comic)
Rating: PG-13 for language and concepts
Summary: "Jesus. Rorschach's a girl." The story of Wanda Kovacs.

Frakking amazing. This explores the Road Not Taken of Rorschach being female....and everything is still kind of the same, but feels just a little bit more grimdark and ugly. I give this my highest recommendation. This is the real deal, no Mary-Sue bullshit. A must read.

I found another related story dealing with a female Ozymandias who feels somehow worse than canon.

Title: Dying is Easy, Comedy is Hard.
Characters: Mainly 63!Veidt and The Comedian.
Rating: R for skeevy violence. Gen.
    Word count: 3705
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Alan Moore.
Summary: Adrienne Veidt Vs. Edward Morgan Blake.

I found the whole thing quite insightful and disturbing at the same time.

Wow I only checked out the first one but...damn great characterization of Rorschach. I wasn't sure how they would spin the female angle but it worked well and didn't feel awkward or contrived. The back story was interesting and I liked the spin on Rorschach's history.
