Eh, I was speaking in regards to the massive popularity of the fic on FF.net, and the 4/5 and 5/5s in the thread. The fact that it's rating is so low only reinforces my stance. It's not horrible, it's not bad. But it's nothing special as far as I'm concerned. Lots of wasted potential spent on a ridiculously-sized cast of 'eh' OCs.

 

10/10 would fap to busty fox women/loli's again.

 

This is just page after page of mediocre/bad writing. It may have been great when it started, but it's bloated and confusing now. Plus, there are so many OC's that I'm not bothered about keeping track anymore. IIRC, all of them have teh boobies, except for a couple. And they all want Naruto despite the fact that it's getting tiresome reading about century old beings wanting to sex up a preteen.

 

This could be unbelievably good. Instead it's just good in some moments and irritating in others.

When I was younger I kind of loved this story but recently it's just begun to annoy me. I still think it's something most people should give a chance to though. Hard to give it a rating that sums it up due to the aforementioned uneven quality but since it cycled between 1-2/5 and 4-5/5 for me I'd give it:

I remember trying to read it several times a while back, never could get past the opening arc.

 

It should have ended 20 chapters ago. It is readable to an extent but it is certainly too bloated with padding to be of high merit.

Here's the thing right, the writing is technically decent, he's improved a shitton from his earlier fics which are pretty much unreadable, so that's a plus. On the other hand, just what exactly does this fic have to do with Naruto? Like goddam, there's more OC's than canon characters, and sure some of them are interesting and well written, the other hundred or so are boring and cliche, thanks to the fact that most of them are around for a chapter and then forgotten about.

That's pretty much the big problem with the fiction really, there's so much extra padding, either in characters that are all super speshul and really cool guys, and of course better in every way than the boring humans, that it's just boring when a new one turns up. You can't take anything seriously when you have god tier characters running around doing shenanigans, which are all so funny and lolrandomtits.

There's also all the random 4th wall jokes, bashing of random characters and lolkindaporn. That shit gets kinda boring after a while. Like so many other fics, it started out as a fun idea, and then he added another one, and then another one, and then another fifty.

tl;dr a solid 3/5.

 

This is mainly the reason why I like it so much.
