Does anyone know of a site that summarizes what happens in each Manga? Because I just can't get into them, but I wouldn't mind being kept up to date, if only roughly by third party.

I tried jumping straight into the last manga released, 639, and Naruto wants to cast a Rasen Senkou Chourinbu Kousanshiki. Like wtf is that shit, Rasen Shukin just doesn't cut it anymore? I don't suppose all the latest bad guys turn into monkeys on the full moon too. >.>

 

If you're not gonna read it you're not going to want to know the plot, because quite frankly the only redeeming factor of Naruto is its showmanship and (sometimes) its characterization. The plot is garbage.

Also, that's not Naruto, that's Minato.

 

I don't understand. If you intend to write Naruto fanfiction but not read the latest chapters, write fanfiction using only your old knowledge. If people complain your shit isn't canon, fuck em'.

If you intend to write Naruto fanfiction that uses new plot elements you should probably read the crappy manga. A summary will always be missing crucial details or context, reducing your ability to properly use the elements of the plot.

 

Never been a comic man, didn't even touch Naruto or any anime/manga till it was on this site. Plot is meh, more just want to know whats going on, not for any real love of the series.

Yeah nothing to do with writing Naruto, its more that I'm curious whats happening in canon. Whos alive, whos dead, whos fighting who, etc etc.
