Ah, but what does strength have to do with enjoyability? I see your point and I don't doubt you, Nintendo traditionally has a freaking insane habit of making indestructable under normal circumstances hardware.

Umm, well, if it dont break easily, you dont have to be AS careful w/ it, meaning you could also enjoy it for longer. You know, funny thought. If someone is playing, say, a baseball game on the Rev, and lets go, what do you think will happen?

Anyways, another reason that I like the Rev is the absolute backwards compatibility. Duckhunt will be awesome with the new controller.

Edit: You know, if video games dont work out for Nintendo, they could always go for cellphones. Their cells would be TANKS.

Uh, that's great and all, but who cares? I mean, I live in CA, so there's really not a possibility of my PSP getting frozen. And it sure as hell isn't going to get run over by a car. Or be put in a fire. I'm careful with all my electronics, so I probably won't drop it. But the only reason why the PSP is less durable is because the screen isn't covered, like the DS's. It isn't as bulky too. So that guy is just a retard for wasting $400 to do this. I could think of much better uses for that much money.

Southern California, not Northern. I know how cold it can get up there.

    Ummm... guys?

Let's not forget battery life, shall we? The Nintendo DS can get up to ten hours of gameplay while you'll be lucky to get five with the Sony PSP. Not to mention the fact that at this point of time SONY = teh Devil! What with that bullshit rootkit they were foisting earlier. I mean its one thing to have something that installs shit on the computer when you idiotically press 'yes' without reading the @%$# thing its a whole 'nother thing when they install their shit anyway after we told them no!

Personally I'm hoping that Squaresoft gets their freedom back soon and goes back to Nintendo.

Square Enix does have its freedom back, hence Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, which was okay. Coulda been better, but okay.

The rootkit thing is blown way out of proportion. So what they installed something, a majority of programs out there install stuff that watches what you do. Seeing folks make such a huge deal over it is stupid.

Not to mention Sony Music, has nothing to do with Sony's game division.

Um.. Nintendo was originally founded in Japan on November 6, 1889 as a game card company, it's been around much longer then 45 years.

You seem to have missed the most important part of my post on the SONY issue, so I added it back in.

It is a big deal when it doesn't follow its own EULA and becomes a hostile takeover of my machine. Not to mention no recourse for situations where someone not the owner of the machine pops in a cd just to hear it and installs the rootkit (while telling the autorun installer program no) on someone else's machine!

As for the whole seperate divisions arguement...bah humbug. SONY is a member of the RIAA and the RIAA doesn't distingush P2P for the sake of downloading the latest Ubuntu release or the latest track from an indie band from software or audio piracy; why should I give them the benefit of the doubt they refuse to give me?

Indeed Nintendo will go out like Sega... Bad designs and stupd decisions... Since around halfway into the gamecubes life ive seen nintendo ending its run in the top of the Console wars... they will more than likely still reign supreme in the Handheld market but thats about it... and even that is in question with the PSP avalible...

and speaking of the PSP... anyone else heard that 3rd party companies are going to start releasing PORN!! for the psp?

Indeed... i still play Road rash on the EMU m PS2 runs... greatest racing combat game ever made...

Doesn't take much to make a good controller for RPGs. I mean you need an action button, a cancel button, and menu one. But the PS have really good button placement for fighting games.

I never really get why people say the X-Box controller in really big. Only the big ones where one the release system after that they switched to there smaller ones. My only real problem with X-Box controllers are the white and black buttons. The controller for me seemed big but after about 5 min it was ok.

Nintendo's last good non-hand held system was Super Nintendo

    I miss my Genisis.

A while ago, I was stupid and sold my genesis, along with all of its games, to my daycare person. I made about 60$ off of all of it, tho. Anyways, I think that the biggest reason that I want the Revolution is the ability to download al of their old games on to the console.

Why is this such big news? Work out the logistics!
Using a psp for porn means you'll have to always alternate hands (due to the weight of the unit) and after awhile that's just icky! Gimme my big screen (19.8inches) moniter anytime! ^o~

<_<... its not so much big news opposed to my surprise that GTA is getting complaints of havnig sex on a videogame console vs actual porn... i dunno why.. i just find that sort of amusing..

besides.. your forgeting that screen is a whole 4.3 INCHES!... thats.... sort of impressive i suppose...

well not really since the 170 car stereo im getting thursday is prolly bigger...
